Just peeking in here to say Gekko and send
{{{{HUGS}}}}, positive thoughts and prayers!
Well, it's not quite midnight, so maybe I can read a few posts.
Hi, Broni, Brenda, Gail, Tami, Suzy, Heidi and Theresa!
Broni, we keep missing each other. I hope all is well!
Brenda, how awful that you must endure the loud noises of repairs. Worse, still, you may need to replace carpets, possibly wardrobes and redecorate Hope you enjoy the unintentional Valentine's Day get-away!
Tami, we'll include Ratner's and/or Gold's blintzes at our Sudoku hideaway - or maybe even get the shop down the street that makes them fresh to set up shop at Surreal/Sudoku Farm. Enjoy your weekend away from school!
Heidi, thank you for continuing to post MizT's updates via her sister! I hope Al and MizT both are feeling better after getting some sleep! I hope you are feeling better and were able to enjoy dinner at the Indian restaurant. Feel better tomorrow, too, and drive safely when you go to pick up the lovebirds!
Suzy and Heidi, you're so right about the lesson taught (and hopefully learned) by the example of the Egyptians! Violence is NOT needed to bring about change!
Theresa, please take care of yourself and allow yourself some "me" time in the next weeks leading up to and following your daughter's surgery! Sending {{{{{HUGS}}}}} and positive thoughts in your direction! Will your daughter try again to give blood for a self-donation? If so, have her load up on iron-rich foods! Good luck to her! Keeping fingers crossed for you and Mr. Theresa also in looking for additional income-producing work! Have any discussions taken place between your daughter & her doctors & the hospital regarding creative ways of paying for services? We are all thinking positive thoughts that all will work out for all of you!
Theresa and Tami, you have both had interesting experiences involving pets and food!
Theresa, just because the person you went out with a few times years ago looked old on his facebook picture, it doesn't mean that you look or act old. Who knows what kind of life he has lead?
Wow, what a surprise that Al was allowed to go home! Maybe they felt that the antibiotics were working and they didn't want to expose him to anything else by keeping him in the hospital?

Hi, eaa and Heidi!
Heidi, I'm so glad you enjoyed your dinner at the Indian restaurant!
Well, I've missed eaa by a bit more than an hour!
eaa, we're pedaling as fast as we can to reach the goal you set for us! Just 300 posts and six pages to go! We can do it!
Heidi, just 11 more hours to go! Have you gone to bed to be well rested for your drive tomorrow? Drive carefully! We'll be looking forward to your announcement of their arrival!
I need to head to bed, so will say, Good Night and all the best to everyone! {{{{{HUGS}}}}},
, positive healing thoughts and prayers for everyone! Take care!

Hugs to Tricia and Al. The Chemo and Ray have knocked out Al's immune system so the less time he spends in hospital with all the bad bugs around the better!
Thinking of you Theresa. Life is certainly not easy for you.
Some good news. Although my friend only lost about 80% of her hair this time she told me yesterday that she is again a 'fuzz ball' and new hair is starting to grow.

Glenn (from Winter Springs) daughter arrived at the University near here yesterday. Glenn had been worried about her so I made contact, met her at the shopping centre for a tea/coffee and a walk around the large centre to show her where the best shops were. She will soon make some friends her own age.

It has been said before, Sudoku people are the best. June helped confirm that by helping out Glenn's daughter. I have a dream of visiting Australia to meet my new cousins and to meet all my Sudoku friends. I hope that some day I am able to afford the trip.

Morning all. Coffee is sooooo good.
I will come through this, but I have my down days.
Julie, my daughter will not be going for another blood donation. She was told that when she donates blood, her iron count goes down as well. If she donated more, they would have to give her a transfusion at the start of the operation. The cost of the operation is covered under her insurance. She has to buy other things like a seat for the bathtub, a seat to raise the level of the toilet, etc. The good thing is that her MIL just got a part-time job at a store supplying health care aids and she gets a 30% employee discount on things my daughter will need. How lucky is that?
Heidi's lovebirds are coming to their forever home today!!! I love hearing good news.
I suggest that we add a room at Surreal Farm - a room that makes only chocolate. Is anyone opposed to this?

Hi all.
It is nice to be back and read what you are all up to.
It put a smile on my face to hear that Junes friend has some fluff growing on her head.
Theresa..thinking of you and your daughter. At least now you can give yourself a rest from the worry of finding a job until later. That is a bonus to have MIL working in just the right place.
MizT & Al..prayers said for you both.
Heidi..your excitement is very evident.I hope they had a very safe trip.Sorry you have been sick again.
Tami..Thanks for the coffee! As for working Sat,more money for your eventual trip to Australia.(hint hint)
Brenda..what are the dates that you will be in Aust.I think you said August? I have holidays then and hope they coincide and we can meet.
Thanks Julie for your wonderful updates!
P.S. I am still not smoking and proud of myself and anyone else that has kicked the habit.
Catch you later.

I have stayed at a bakery in Switzerland a couple of times where they made their own chocolates and there was always a bowl of them in the house to help yourself!
Tami, if you work in the chocolate room you will soon give up eating chocolate!

Morning all,
Tami, hubby said the same thing last Saturday when he had to work..
Theresa, is that luck or good planning by you MIL? You have a lot of stuff happening and it's not surprising you are 'down', but be careful it doesn't get any worse. I worry about that.
Nola, holidays sound good! I hope you are planning on heading south!!
I don't work in any FPRs, even chocolate, but I will consume the product..

Have fun, Heidi. Lasagna ... yum.
Suzy, I just need to get through the next 2-5 months and things will get more or less back to normal, except hopefully I'll be working. Not that I want to go back to work, but we do what we have to do. I put an application in this morning to a store near us for part-time work, but .... I know I said I wasn't going to work until the end of March, but if I can find a job with the right hours and not many hours, that would be OK too.
