Good Maen everyone!
Suzy, MizT, Al Big HUGS & love to you all!! Will pray for Al with the pneumonia. Suzy: Missed what was going on with you, but know we are ALL here to support you (and listen when you need a friendly ear/shoulder to lean on!!)
Had a VERY noice lunch & shopping day with my buddy Janet. Talked to her about the conversation with Darrell. She has been married almost 28 years and understands. Told Darrell how I felt this morning. He understands & apologized for making me feel this way. Came home from day with Janet, there were FLOWERS for me in the kitchen and my wine was poured & waiting. Sounds like simple things, but maybe that's what we need to do.

IH was here this tonight to help me tube feed the calf. He was bloody useless! (as expected) I explained to him how tube feeding worked, and that the head and neck had to be totally immobilized to prevent damaging the esophagus, and it was easiest to do that if you restrained the entire animal. So the idjit held on to his rear end and middle and let the front end thrash around like a fish out of water. When I ordered him to restrain the head for me, he threw a very childish tantrum. It took a lot longer to get the calf tubed (he still refuses to suckle) and was extremely stressful. I don't know if I'm gonna shoot IH or the stubborn calf. I've never had to tube a calf for so long. And he's not acting like there'll be an end to it. I know I'm not going to have IH "help" me again.

SA9A is getting a bit sluggish. Shall we take it to pg 600 then change to SA10? Or shall we wait till MizT feels like giving a damn, cos we sure should be the last thing on her mind right now.
Very worried for Al ♥

Hi all, I am home and trying to relax enough to sleep. Al was admitted to Medical Intensive Care. I got to speak to his nurse before I came home, and she said she was not sure why they had him up there, probably cause the doc wanted him monitored cause his Blood Pressure was so low when he came in. She said he would be a wonderful ICU patient for her tonight, someone not as sick as most who were there.
ER doc told us pressure could be down cause he was dehydrated, and it did come up after 2 bags of fluid. He also started him on one of the powerful antibiotics, forget the name at the moment, and he will have breathing treatments again.
No accommodations for family in ICU, so Joy brought me part way home. Neighbor with a truck met us at the end of the paved road, and got me rest of way home. Thank heavens for a friend you can call any time of day or night for a favor. Roads are very muddy and rough now, washed out some where so much water went over them, but passable in a truck or SUV.
This afternoon, when the oncology nurse kept telling me ( about 3 times) He HAS to be seen today, there were 2 rivers running across our street. NO option but to call 911 and get someone to get us hot of here. Ambulance had to get special permission to go across running water and they had to have a fire truck drive through in front of them to see how deep and swift the water was. Fire truck stayed and escorted us out also. Water was more than half way up the fire truck tires, and up under the running boards on the ambulance. Some experience riding in the ambulance through all that water.

I will see about starting a new SA!), if I remember correctly, it does not take long, maybe tomorrow.
Suzy, so sorry to hear that Ebob is not at home again. I know you are of two minds about that. Home is more peaceful, quieter, but you worry more. Huge Hugs to you dear, and I am here if you need someone to talk to.

June, unfortunately, his doctors give only Normal saline in the drip. Something about all that sugar in the one with dextrose ( D5W here) feeds the germs and cancer. At least he is getting enough fluid, keep him hydrated.

Feeling a bit better tonight with the support of good friends. Even her description of who she was going to be living with was filled with lies. We will be better off and she says she is an 'adult' now and capable of looking after herself. Tough love coming up!! My mother ripped strips off her...

Suzy, she will always think she knows best. I have told you before that we had to actually kick one of our step-daughters (R's first wife's daughter) because of her behaviour. We, as adults, know that she will regret this phase in her life when she is older but she thinks she knows best. Try not to worry yourself too much about her because we do not want you to harm your health. How is Alie taking her sister moving out again. I remember last time that Alie was rather upset.

Hi my friends, thank whoever you want for us finding each other, it was meant to be.
So many troubles that we have, and freinds to thank for helping us get through.
Cannot say more than already has been said.
Did I ever send/post the story about putting the glass down?
Love and Hugs to you all.

Don't think I'll go to the new page with this - we're heading up the country again tomorrow, as my Dad seems to be fading fast. We are SO thankful that my sister got to see him yesterday even if he wasn't very with-it. And he and Mum have been married for over 60 years - just don't know how she'll cope ... :(

Brenda, I think Alie might be a little relieved. Dana ruined her favourite bag, borrowed every penny she had (hasn't paid it back), wore her clothes and didn't return them etc etc etc. I have to admit it's nice to have to hide stuff..
