We are trying for 600 pages here Broni.
Suzy, Theresa only has the one daughter and I thought the same thing as you did about her daughter still having her internet connection.

Heidi, do not feel bad, if we had had any help from Brenda or Julie, could have made it, but unfortunately they did not check in to see our goal today. But we ARE on the new page, and got there by 8 AM Sudoku time! Not bad, not bad, We got there before Rolanda woke up hehehe. OK, other west coasters too, Rolanda is just first to come to mind.

At first I thought the same about Theresa's daughter's internet connection. Then I remembered in the past we had contracts for internet service we would have had to pay the whole year whether we had it was canceled/turned off early or not. Perhaps something like that is the reason?

MizT get some rest you will need your energy when Al gets out of hospital again.
Suzy, eventually she will regret what she is doing, but at the moment she is doing what she wants and nothing you say will change that. I am just pleased that this time your husband and Alie are on your side.

Brenda, I have not hit a lick with a stick today, really lazy day. Read a book, read on internet, cooked myself an easy lunch (and easy on tummy too), Mac and cheese with bacon bits from a package. I tried a nap, but so windy, heard something knocking, sounded just like someone at back door. Once I was up, found glasses and got there, no one in sight.

MizT, you could be right about the connection and contracts. I'll choose to hope that life isn't sooo unfair for Theresa.

Brenda, I almost, and emphasise almost, wish hubby wasn't on my side - I hate seeing him like this! Alie is taking a mental health day from school. She didn't mention Dana at all, but I suspect that was in there. I felt really bad letting her do it, but figured hubby and I had one yesterday...

JUDY, your post came in while I was typing mine, So sorry to hear about your Dad, I am glad the end came ease and peaceful. Hugs to you and your family. I do hope all the family 'behaves' and none of the hurt feelings you were thinking might happen. Hope everything goes as planned, and may your father's funeral be as peaceful as his passing.

MizT.... It's definitely NOT fair. It makes D look selfish. It wasn't long ago that Theresa paid a huge fine that SonIL got for speeding. And she sacrifices so much for them. But SHE has to give up her one luxury and her D doesn't. I don't like it and I don't think well of her D and SIL because of it.

I'm not working today but I'm going for a blood test this morning. I'm really hanging out for a cuppa but I just have to wait.

I've already dropped the apprentice across town this morning. He is off to Byron Bay for the weekend and being collected by his mate after work. I said I'd take him to work. We left home at 6am and I made it home again at 7am. They are off to Byron to go sky diving. He is having a tandem jump tomorrow morning!!!

Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

A friend's status on fb - doesn't quite make the TOPP standard does it? But I identified with it today...

OH SUZY, I do understand how hard this is for your entire family. a child of a relative was stealing, lying, skipping school, running away, intimidating elderly grandparents, and I saw what it did to the entire family. One sibling wanted to be delivered from ever having contact with him again, one did not talk to his parents for months cause they "threw him away, you cannot throw away a child". One was more "whatever" minded. In my opinion, they did not throw him away, he chose to stay away rather than live by their rules, a BIG difference. Still I know it hurts to see a child of yours being so self destructive. Hugs to your hubby and to Alli also, know this is so hard for them and you too.

As for Theresa, I don't know why she gave up internet and D did not. It could have to do with SIL needing it for work or the kids needing it for school. I would have a hard time if I did not have internet at home and both my boys have to look stuff up on-line. Kids are very tech savvy and teachers are aware of that.

I have not heard any more about the new baby.
I might ring my MIL to see if she has heard more.
I will ring the new Grandma, later in the day, and have a chat with her, and find out if the new family are ready to have visitors. Thinking of going on the weekend, providing Mum and Baby are still in hospital.
Mothers and Baby do not stay long these days, but I would have thought with Baby being so little they may stay longer than the norm!

The blood test is done and I've also been grocery shopping.
I'm hunting for some things to celebrate James transition to a tradie. We are going to have a Bob the Builder party. Of course, I'm keeping it a suprise from James.
I've been to the Cheesecake shop to arrange for the cake, I've got a Bob the Builder drill set and some small figurines as well. I can't buy BB plates or napkins anywhere, so I've got some stickers with appropriate stuff on them. I'll stick them on the plastic cups and paper plates.
I asked James to invite some of his mates over on the day. It should be a good laugh.

I'm a little sore, but it could have been much worse. Everything is wet and muddy outside, and of course I had to do a pratfall. I landed flat on my back in a foot deep puddle full of mud and water. I wish I had a video of it. It would have looked pretty funny.

Heidi, must we come wrap you in quilt batting to protect you from injury? How about an inflatable ring about your body, you fall, you bounce? I know just what you need, multiple air bags, protecting limbs, body both fore and aft, and head!! There you go, tumble proof Heidi.

Vici, chocolate carpenters tools, what a neat idea. Did you know there is also a quilt block pattern called Carpenters Wheel? I had always wanted to do one for hubby, but seemed kind of complicated. I just found an easier to make block with same look, that I might could have done. http://www.quilterscache.com/C/CarpentersWheelBlock.html

Your party sounds really fun, and using stickers for builder bob is a good idea.

I hope Al has not been too lonely today. His nurse said about 5 pm, he had tucked in under his cap for a nap, so sounds like he had a busy day. I will go sometime tomorrow, need him to sign a check for deposit. I hope Joy makes it for the 10 pm visitation tonight. she does not live as far as I do from hospital, but more traffic.

OH NO, feral neighbors behind us just turned on their music, and I can hear too much of it here. Just the boom boom of base speakers, how I hate that!
