Just had to take the TOPP. I am not counting, I don't care, but it was fun to get one. I am going to bed now. I have to get up early for school. It has been a long day. See you all tomorrow.

Tami, hope you don't compare your MIL to a Basset to her face hehe!
Yes Zusy, Bella did miss BJ when he passed on, but she has got used to being the centre of attention. If anyone would like to see Dallas this is the link

Broni, I went to look at Dallas and it said the ad is no longer there. Maybe they took the ad down knowing you are going to take Dallas home?????
No, I don't compare my MIL to a dog. It is just like Suzanne having a dog named "Heidi" just a coincidence.

Hey everybody... How are you? Hopefully things are going well.
Tami, Sure wish I was going to be in Florida next week, I would love to see it all come together for Mitchell and you. Loved the poem and wish you well....It will be great!
Heidi...see what happens even when you mistreat yourself for a short period of time...we will be on your butt...take heed...we are watching...
Broni...good luck if you decide to get the rescue,,,somrtimes two are easier to care for because they keep each other company and don't look to their humans for everything...good luck with your decision.

She looks beautiful, Broni. And you could give her a few happy years. That has got to be the saddest listing I've ever seen. But I never saw one for Rain.

CynB...read about your SIL's mishap on the other site...hoping he has a speedy recovery and complete healing....the pain can be controlled.
Tami, regarding the "friend request" you have gotten, even if you decide to accept her and she acts up, you can always delete her from your page and life once again...you have the power and the control....It may be good and you will be seen as forgiving, but if not...ZAP...and to be nice, you can always tell her why you took the action...just don't accept any guilt trips... Peace.
Shout outs to the rest of you great guys...luv ya...!

Heidi, that is was got me too, when I spoke to Chetti she was surrendered because the lady who owned her could not afford to feed herself and Dallas, think Dallas was the better fed one.

Ah, my little visitor (Emily) has gone home for the day - back tomorrow and the rest of the week - but now I can relax.
June - I know the feeling about taking kids to the movies. I have the wonderful choice of 'The princess and the frog' or 'Tooth Fairy' this week when I still haven't seen Sherlock Holmes, It's complicated or Up in the Air - ah school's in next week.
Tami - loved the poem.
Broni - Dallas is lovely and she needs a loving owner. Hope she and Bella hit it off.

To be honest I have been busy this morning but for the life of me I cannot think or see what I have done, so why do I bother.
Hope Bella gets on with Dallas, she looks a sweet old thing.
Cyn, hope your SIL heals quickly, but also hope he doesn't go back to work too soon. He will have to be careful with his shoulder in case he dislocates it again.
Tami, hope you aren't getting too stressed about Mitchel's Bar Mitvah I'm sure you have everything planned to perfection

Hi Brenda how are you?
Have to agree with you about the shoulder, it takes time for the tendons and muscles to build up again.

You seem to be making good use of the boat this year, have you decided to keep it or just using it until you find someone to buy it?

Mama ..... as usual, your answer to Tami's dilemma was perfect. Much better than mine.
Broni.... From experience, I know how rewarding it is to add a geriatric and needy pet to your household. Old dogs can learn new stuff and have much love to offer. I have a feeling that Bella will become her friend and protector. With the Collies, I've never seen any resentment to a geriatric addition, while the addition of a younger dog can cause some jealousy. I think it may have to do with vulnerability.

Good Morning friends!
Tami - I can't believe the big party is this coming weekend. I know it is going to be such a fabulously memorable time. What teams wound up as the final tables?
As to the friend request...when I'm not sure what to do, I sit on it for awhile. Like Gail said, I think in time your heart will tell you what is right for you.

Avatar this afternoon is a go.
Thanks for the input, Suzy. I've been hearing the same thing - need to see it at the theater. We'll be catching the version in 3D.
Broni - bless you for adding to your family. I'd say Heidi is right...she's pretty versed in multiple pet families!
Hugs to you all. Hope to catch up more tomorrow.

The yard is a mess again. The plumber and Robert are tearing up the yard with a track-hoe. They're running a water line to my bird barn so I won't have to haul water over there in buckets any more. We're having a warm spell where the ground is not frozen, so it's the best time.
