Woohoo Heidi, things are getting better.
eaa certainly has the knack of topping then disappearing.
Speedy my baby goldfish is growing everyday and is not afraid of the big fish anymore.

Just Dumb and family Heidi, Dumber is in Canada I think snow skiing.

You think Dumber will hit a tree?

My salesman was hoping for an avalanche hehe!

I still think that eaa lurks in the background and only sticks her furry little nose out when she can turn the page.

Why is it that every time I try to sit down and relax, I think of something else I have to do???

I think the chances are greater that Dumber will mess up and ski into a tree or off a cliff. I mean, just how many avalanches are there when you need one?

Hey gang! Almost 7 pm here for me...getting a late start here.
I've been loving reading about all the cat houses!!!
I thought I had allergies to cats also, but still had 3 of them in my house at that time. I just couldn't have them in my bedroom or I couldn't sleep.
Well, come to find out, when I got clean and sober back in 1986 my allergies went away. Just one of the many bennies of getting that monkey off my back!

Tami - I think as far as your x-friend goes...I would proceed depending on how much of a straight shooter you think she is capable of being. I was fooled recently in a relationship were I believed the other gal had the capacity to be honest and talk things through. When stuff came up between us I discovered it was impossible. She seemed to only be able to come at me sideways, so I knew I had to cut the ties. There was just no way to have a straight forward conversation about the stuff between us. Sad, but a good lesson for me.

We got a dusting of snow (HOORAHHHHHH!) today...but now it is raining all over it (DRATS!!!)
The temps may drop down tonight to turn this cold rain into snow, but I'm not holding my breath. We're having some really heavy storms hit us right now - and just a bit up the mountain from my there is a major blizzard.
Hope you all are doing well. Bedtime for me.

Think I got everything done that has to be done tonight. Tomorrow is another day. I am taking off on Friday to get a lot of little things done. Hope everyone has a great day/night. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Good afternoon all - my little visitor stayed overnight last night and we went to the movies today (Tooth Fairy) after visiting Mum. Mum was thrilled to see Emily, no idea of her name but knew she was one of the family.
Heidi - I didn't know either that you had cats.
Theresa - my thoughts also to your Mother-in-Law. It would be awful to lose a sister.

Vici - I got a lovely surprise in the mail today in the form of a birthday card. Thank you so much. xoxoxo

Depressing story that I forgot to tell you...
When Ally was performing at the races I bought something from the canteen. It was rather large and I was asked if I was going to share it with my grandchildren! Sob! I must be looking really old these days because I would have had to be 16 and Mum 16 to fit in Ally let alone Ebob!!!

Suzy - you DO NOT look like a grandmother!

Tooth Fairy - well, I got a few laughs out of it which is more than I could say about Old Dogs! I'd give it 2 1/2 stars. But I had the choice of that, The Princess and the Frog (could not find a suitable time for us to go) and the Chipmunk movie. I told all 5 of my grandies before the holidays that no way would I be taking any of them to it. I have never liked the Chipmunks since I was a kid. Speeding up voices and singing just irritates me.

Still want to see Avatar, need a review from Vici or have I missed it again.

I must Cyn! It's not the first time!

Broni, I saw Avatar and the best way I can describe it is that it is a really long movie that feels normal length. It didn't feel long at all!

Hope all's well in SA9A-land. Winds were acting up last night, but I slept ok. Eczema on my hands acting up for some weird reason.
Not much else going on here, played Wii bowling with Darrell last night, I won 2 out of 3 games. TTFN everyone!

eaa: Congrats on yet ANOTHER topp!!

Good morning everyone!
Broni - Avatar really WOWed me. The special effects were amazing. Definitely meant to be seen on the big screen and in 3D. At one point it looked like ash was falling all over the audience - bizarre! I did enjoy the movie...the story was very predictable (done to death) and the characters were one dimensional (good guys only good and bad guys truly evil - I like when screen writers make the characters more real...not so 'black and white')
But the color, the future stuff, the visuals: WOW!

Tami - sending you lots of energy for your big weekend. I didn't see a response to my question about the different "team tables" for the party...did I miss it?
Good luck - I think from your descriptions, planning and hard work it is going to be a huge success!
Suzanne - hope your hands cool down - how irritating! High winds down our way, too.

I remember the first time someone called me Mamm instead of Miss - broke my heart.
No snow over night. They are saying 100% chance tonight, but they have been pretty wrong so far - just cold enough to need lots of heat in the house, but not cold enough to snow. Thanks to those of you keeping your fingers crossed for me!
