GOOD Maen Sudoluland! I am late getting here. RAIN was interfering with my DSL line. Now, that is not the way they advertise it, saying no interference from weather, but, this is the way it really happens!

We had a nice, heavy rain for about 3 hours, and more to come later today. It is still damp and misty and coolish today. April showers came in just on time today.

Poor Phantom arrived on my back porch looking like a drownded rat! I think he needs to find a dry place to hang out on days like today. Usually one dry patch on the porch, but he has not discovered that yet it seems. Also, dry under the house, again, he has not found that. Oh did he want inside today, but kitty girls protecting thier domaine, taking turns lying across the entrance, looking out the slider.

NOW I have a place to sit a spell and enjoy the coffee. Thanks for the snacks, I had a small nibble of the chocolate couch this morning, yummy.

But what I'd really like to know...

STELLA, I was admiring the disney Castle, nice avatar. When do you leave? Hope you have a wonderful trip!

Windy but not too cold here, started off a little wet but wind has blown the showers away. Hubby and I are supposed to be going away in the caravan this weekend (Friday to Sunday)I'll have to get my finger out and get the caravan ready, will have to rinse and sterilise all the water pipes, they have stood all winter.

Hello, All! I have actually arrived here before midnight. Gail, what, exactly, are "Gail-force" winds? Do they take you where you want to go? With the high price of gasoline, that would be very helpful! I hope the visit to the hairdresser produced the desired results.

Stella, I hope you find some relief from the allergies! This is not one of my favorite times of year, either. I hope the symptoms are under control while you are in Florida so you can enjoy DisneyWorld! MizT, thank you for the hot beverages. It sounds like Phantom could use some warm milk after being out in the storm. I like the "Pills" poem! We can certainly relate!

Brenda, I hope the caravan preparations go well and the weather improves so you can enjoy the weekend get-away. Ruby, thank you for the information about April Fools. This is one day when I don't really miss being in a classroom with primary school students. Is there an organized group of people who are Keepers of the Language? What a good idea!

Rolanda, thank you for the updates on TOPPs. It seems like you try to get to Curves regularly. How goes it? (I need to get back on track with watching food intake, but I'm pretty good about daily water aerobics class.) Dino, thank you for keeping us provided with sustenance. Might I request some raw veggies occasionally?

Julie, even though I miss their little jokes, I didn't mind not being in the classroom today.

Bean, this email you got about your subscription sounds like a 'phishing' mail. I hope no one who received it fell for it and passed on any financial details.
I hope when the tree finally settles from falling that your property, and any other property, was safe from damage.

I haven't seen Mama in here for a couple of days, she must be really busy packing for her trip. Just in case she does visit I thought I would let her know that the weather is improving over here in the UK for the last couple of days the temps have risen to double figures (centigrade)

Oh dear I should have checked the 5 day forecast before posting that last comment. I just checked for here and Paris and temps are due to drop again to single figures. We even have snow forecast for Sunday while we are away in the caravan, thank goodness it has good double glazing and a decent heating system.

Have you called the SES CynB? Actually, do you have the SES in Queensland??

Bean, Gail and all in Melbourne, you certainly have had an awful day in Melbourne. Hope you got to and from the hairdresser Gail and the tree does not fall anyfurther onto your house Bean.

Reading this overseas , Melbourne has had gale force winds up to 120k/h with a lot of damage and some loss of life.

I think our Melbourne SA4ers are all recovering from the wind damage as it is very quiet here tonight.

I am waiting for a page to load so thought I'd drop back in and say hi and check how things are going. Winds are horrible! We've cut down a total of 5 trees because of them, though we've planted more, they are still very small. Very sad...

Hi Suzy, Winds like they are having in Melbourne are terrible. Sorry you lost trees to winds. My son in Melbourne was not affected as there are not many trees where he lives. Not sure about Gail who lives where there are a lot of trees.

Casablanka has had a text from Gail. She is without power and it will not be reconnected before tomorrow. Apparently could not get home from the hairdresser. At least we know she is OK

I am also wondering how Dino has got on. She is also in the lower part of Victoria but have not seen any news of that area.

I am not sure why Phoenix (a very new member ) is trying to direct us to a different. Sudoku site. we visited Tallinn, Estonia last year and it is a very beautiful old city.
