At primary school when I was growing up in the bush they always gave me a head start in the races [sports were compulsory even if you were a tortoise]
Despite this [and we are talking half a field head start] I would still not finish first!!! Made up for it in other areas. On reflection it is curious to think that we found it less embarrassing to start a length before everyone else than to finish a length behind everyone else.

Helllooo, SA4! Yay, I finally got in to the page AND logged in! Now I'm officially here, not just reading and unable to post. Unfortunately, it's 12:53 a.m. here, and I need to be up and moving sooner than I'd like to think. Will probably not be around much for the next couple of weeks, so I hope everyone stays healthy, has a wonderful time meeting other Sudokuaholics, enjoys long weekends, celebrates when appropriate, etc. Hope to see you soon!

Only 4 more days of school holidays.... d2 will march in an Anzac day march tomorrow. I don't really enjoy this particular march as the people who speak at the end are a bit too bigoted, but the spirit of Anzac day is important to me so I choose to hear only the positive stuff...

Cyn said what the Chicken Surprise was on easy. Two of those pop-up toys that when you push up the bottom, they collapse!

I bet they weren't that boring. If they were what I think they were then they are fun little things.

I'm having to type one handed at the moment because I have done the stupidest of things. I was cutting up an old credit card and have managed to cut the palm of my hand just below my index and middle fingers. Having to keep some pressure on the cut to stop it bleeding It will stop in a minute or so but taking no chances

I am also typing one-handed, but for a different reason. Nibbles is asleep on my right arm!

Yes Gail I am fine just mad at myself for doing such a stupid thing. It has stopped bleeding now and is covered with an elatoplast
I would much rather have a pet nestling in my arms. If Callie gets up on my knee when on the computer I couldn't type at all as she tries to stand on the keyboard

Brenda, cutting up a credit card is never a stupid thing!
It can be a problem having Nibbles up here, sometimes when I am on msn, she can send some pretty strange messages!

I am still without a car/van! We had the kids' car towed in on Monday to get fixed, but when we went to pick it up last night, it had a hard time starting. When we turned it off to test it, it wouldn't restart. We thought if we got the kids' car fixed before the van, then hubby could take it to work so I could go to one of Bryana's softball games. Hubby can't take the van to work because it doesn't fit into the parking garage and there is no place else to park it. We still don't have any groceries in the house because I'm without transport and by the time hubby gets home with Max, we're all too sick and tired to go and get anything. I'm beginning to get cabin fever!

When I couldn't get on yesterday, I spent quite a while going through my Disney pictures. I still have several hundred to go through. I'm trying to separate the ones I can share with the band. It takes a lot of time!

It has been a long day. Cat woke me up at 3.30am and was pleased to find out the page was fixed so proceded to do all the puzzles!
