Cyn darlin' - thanks for the recap...I always appreciate people taking the time to comment on others comments - helps with my CRAFTs and also makes everyone feel included. BTW - your shopping adventure put a smile on my face!
MzT - what fabulous news about your grandson and the new ipod. Isn't technology wonderful??? It is what has connected me with all of you. Hope he gets his service dog, too. Things are looking up for this dear boy!

Well, if I could steal Heidi's lightning smilie and get it posted right now (but can't) I would as we had an awesome storm last night - went on for hours.
It's made a mess of the dirt outside, but the rain is so welcome I don't mind. Plus, now I can go off and do errands today (the cupboards are empty) while the rain continues.
Hope you are surviving your storms, Heidi, and enjoy your quiet day at home.

Suzy - your days' activities have certainly livened up since the days of Belly Busters! I just love hearing about your adventures at school.
Sorry to have missed my twin VViv, Mama, Gail, Broni, Suzanne, Tami the T, Bobbi and Beanie Baby (tour director extrodinaire) - heck, I've missed everyone. Sending hugs and love out to all!

Rolanda, have you finished that extra pair of pants yet? I can pm my mailing address to you if you have. (Wish I had a snort smilie - hehe).
Stella, I hope the kids feel better soon. What lousy timing.

Well, that's about it for me. It took me 2.5 hours to prepare for my year 10 chemistry class this morning. That has to change! The teachers at this school have 30 75 minute classes a fortnight, multiply that by 2.5 and it just doesn't fit!
I get to see the smiling devil today. I wonder what mean and nasty little gems will come out of his super-sweet-baby-talking-always-smiling mouth today.

OH DEAR, I feel lost again. Smiling devil? and one that is baby talking? Does not sound pleasant.
Suzy, I hope you get faster at preparing soon. I am sure, knowing you, that you over prepared for this today. To bad you do not teach just one subject repeated several times a day. that is what teachers in my daughters junior high and high school did, and same subject year after year, also. At worse they taught part A and part B, for the two different semesters we spent in one subject, like Chemistry, or American Literature or Algebra or Accounting 1 or 2. Is that clear as mud?

got the mowing finished again, and the trim work hubby did with the whipper snipper is still looking good, we can sit back and relax for a few days at least.
new sewing to report, perhaps soon I can get s bit done. but everyone do stand up and say YEAH, I have done all my paperwork.
I have 4 documents being put in the mail to me today or tomorrow. Now to get hubby to do the one thing he must do himself. I feel FREE getting to the end of this work thing!

June, Happy birthday to your MIL. Hope she has a wonderful day.
Ruby,
where ever you are.
Suzy, I teach one subject all day, except for one block. Every teacher at my school teaches a one hour reading class, but we are given all materials, basically just have to copy it into lesson plan book.
No more pencils, no more books, no more students dirty looks. It is over.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!
I do have to go in tomorrow morning to turn in end of year paperwork, clean classroom and turn in keys. We are then having a Hawaiian themed luncheon at a local hotel. I don't start camp until Tuesday, so I am free for three whole days.

Stella, I hope Ian and Bryana both feel better soon! Our D2 was diagnosed a week ago with sinus and ear infections. Antibiotics have done nothing. The thought now is that it is viral. I hope it doesn't take your two long to improve. I'm sorry Ian is missing out on some very important activities!
I, too, have kept Lynda and Ruby in my email addresses and friends list. They were both very special people and are missed!

I have a live stream of the Cliburn Piano competition as I type. D2 is in the orchestra accompanying the concerto portion of the competition. I click over every once in a while to see if the camera is off the pianist and viewing the orchestra.

Julie, thank you and everyone for the good wishes for grandson. I also hope this will make great changes in his and his family's lives. Funny, I had not thought about one being hi tec and the other being low tec, but you are certainly right on that.
HI to BOBBIE, hope you had a very good day today.
Hi to Rolanda in the bog swamp, I also am glad you have had your shots, swamps can be scary things.
