I'm home again. The epidural pain block was a good one. I'm on my way to bed now.

Heidi, glad it was a good one and that you are safely home now.

The humidity is so much lower today, our 90 degrees feels almost balmy in comparison to the heat and humidity we had. Even the " feels like" temp is, surprise, 90 today hehhehe. Not a bad day today at all.

I think you sent the humidity up here, MizTricia. I stepped outside for a few minutes and was wringing wet in seconds. And it's NOT raining.

HEIDI, yep, that sounds like the humidity we had. Felt like walking into a sauna, could take your breath away. Sorry I sent it to you, but glad it has gone from here.

Heidi, glad you are feeling better after the epidural. I wish it would just rain. A typical summer in south Florida means afternoon thunder boomers. Yesterday was all day thunder boomers. We did have about a 2 hour break in the afternoon.

Stella, tell Meghan I would love to hear all about Hungary when she returns. I am of Hungarian descent but have never been there. I know three words in Hungarian: grandmother, how are you, and a one my father taught me.

June..I tried counting the girls and boys to see what Karen had but got lost a few times and gave up.
So summer is hitting hard in some places topside.Thank goodness for A/C.
Yesterday,I bought a warm lined coat from vinnies for $6.It will come in handy when we go to Bathurst car races.I'll probably never wear it again after that.

The back is still tender. I'll be feeling better tomorrow. Remember, the needle goes into a severely damaged spot in the spine, and recreates the worst pain I've ever had. It takes a while to recover from that. It's not like an epidural while in labor, which is in healthy tissue.

I had an epidural with Mitchell and just the thought of them sticking a needle in my back scared the out of me.

I cringe at the thought of it Heidi.Did you say it gives you relief for 3 months.

I'm going to do the puzzles then get ready for a natureopath appointment.Cant spell it.See you later.

This morning, going to the Camera Shop!!
One of the new memory cards for the Camera is coming up 'Memory Card Error', when I was getting the Camera ready yesterday afternoon.
So I found the receipt yesterday, rang the camera shop, and they said come in, with camera, card and receipt..

Other than that and watching the clock.
Let me see....

Can't believe I didn't say good morning this morning! I read the comments. I think I was too busy working up the courage to hit 'send' on the paper. It isn't very good but is only pass/fail so hopefully it's good enough for a pass.

I think I would be resting if I were you Rolanda - you'll be so busy for the next little while that you'll need ALL of your energy.

Heidi, glad your back is better. I didn't get to have an epidural for either of my girls - though I really really wanted one!

Suzy... If it's the best you can do for now, then it should be good enough. It's out of your hands now so don't worry. There's no longer anything you can do about it. Put it in the past.

The doctor who gave me the epidural wants me to get an underwater camera and take pictures while I'm skin diving in Florida. I don't think there will be any reefs, but maybe a few fish and snails. I don't want to collect any live mollusks so pictures might just work.

A quick good morning lovely people and I'm off to collect Emily. Probably won't get back here until tomorrow evening, her father is picking her up after work tomorrow.

Suzy, I had an epidural with Mitchell which is why I was able to be awake during the c-section. They were able to put stronger drugs in. I wanted one with Dylan but he came out too quickly. Mitchell was 5 days late and had me in labor for 18 hours. Dylan was 8 days early and was out in less than 4. Oh, by the way, I drove myself to the hospital when it was time for Dylan. Wasn't sure it was labor at first. Called doctor who told me to go to the hosptital and get checked. Work wanted to drive me but I said I was ok. When I called work later on and told them it was a boy, the office manager almost dropped the phone. She could not believe I drove to the hospital and had the kid that quickly.

Good maEn everyone, any word from Karen?? I'm glad she & baby are fine, just wanna know what she had!!

Suzanne, I wouldn't have missed you, I would have left you off on purpose!!

Footnote to above post: Driving myself to the hospital was one of the dumbest things I have ever done. Halfway there I KNEW I was in labor and was hoping to get pulled over for speeding. I would have gotten to the hospital quicker. The police are never around when you need them

Suzanne... she had a c-section. Surgery! She may not be on line for a few days to tell us what kind of crumb crusher she had.
