It seems that SA7 is getting old and slow. It is time for a new page. Welcome to SA8.

I just picked up 2 disposable underwater cameras on eBay. 24 shots each. I paid less than $12 (AU$15), including shipping, for the 2 of them. They can be used for land, too. I would rather not carry my trusty Canon ASE to Florida. I'd worry about accidents.

What a fantastic price Heidi.Hope they take reasonable pix.You mentioned that there wasn't much apart from fish and snails to photograph.Hope you find many interesting things underwater, and can use the rest on the sudoku gathering.

These have 35mm 800 speed film in them. They should be able to take good underwater shots. Now I just need to find some fish to photograph.

Actually, I got 2 of each.... in case someone else needed one. You aren't the first one to suggest a photo with mask, snorkel, fins, boa and tiara. I'm considering it. It might look like animal abuse though. You know... a beached whale wearing all that garb.

Farrah had been having a very public bout with cancer. She announced a few months ago that she lost the battle, and it was only a matter of time. She was suffering horribly, so her passing is a blessing for her.

I just heard it too. I was driving the kids to school and hubby to work and it came on the radio. I had read about Farrah and that Michael had been 'revived' by paramedics. It was a shock to hear that he had died so young. Sadly for Farrah it wasn't a shock but expected.

It wasn't that big a shock with Michael. He had mutilated himself with way too much plastic surgery (he did have some tissue die from it) and drugs to change his skin color, as well as who-knows-what other drugs. His pupils were always fully dilated. His plastic surgeon even recently admitted that Michael WAS trying to become a white woman. Too much scar tissue. Too many drugs. He never had a chance.

Wow, I hear all the news first on this site! Sad news about Michael, but not surprising really, I think.
Oh, Good morning Sudokuland! Hope everyone is well today.
My house is (more or less) clean, guests are still in bed, Rob is at work (ohhh!) Today we search for bridal bouquets, tomorrow we choose the bridesmaids dresses - it's all go here! The sun is actually shining, too !
Heidi, we got one of those disposable underwater cameras when we went to ... Vanuatu? The photos were quite blue, though still interesting. But I hope yours turn out better.

It probably depends on how clear the water is. If plenty of sunlight filters through, they should come out OK. I hope. I figure that this is better than nothing. I'm not going to buy an expensive scuba camera for this.

Age doesn't matter, my father was 37, but I can't find anything either. Apparently a New Zealand newspaper is reporting it, but I'm hoping it's garbage!

Good evening all. It is me and not my mom. I would not impersonate her, at least not here. I do impersonate her on the phone at times to take care of business for her. She has also impersonated me to help me out. I would never consider tricking my friends here. Actually I would consider it, I just wouldn't do it

The third death they may have been thinking of was Ed McMahon. He was Johnny Carson's second banana on the Tonight Show.

I would prefer to snooze on the plane, but somehow don't think that would be too successful..
maybe a snooze in the chair in front of the telly while waiting for my fellow travelers to arrive this afternoon.
Meanwhile, I have stuff to do, that didn't get finished yesterday.

Rola..I agree...it is good to top him occasionally...at least I had a few days to revel in the glory this week!

Slept in today...got up early and thought I would just have a little lie in until it was a little warmer and fell asleep...missed out on going to the doctors! I need to finish my course of desensitizing injections before October...or that was the plan...there are 8 injections 2 weeks apart...I think I have missed the boat...will need to have a couple a bit closer together!

And now I am out of here...

Good Night sudokuland, I am ready to call it a day. I slept most of today, one of my meds does that occasionally, really makes me sleepy. I hope I can sleep tonight.

ROLANDA, have a wonderful trip, not sure I will "see" you again before you go. Enjoy yourself and wishing you safe travels.

We had a little shower and a nearby t-storm this afternoon, cooled things down some today. Only one of the air conditioners on now, first time in a week we were able to turn the big one off. I vaugely heard some far off thunder, remember thinking, if that gets closer I need to get up and turn off my computer. It did not get closer.

Hubby said it rained hard in town, he had gone to post office. He brought me home a surprise, a nice bar of chocolate, dark chocolate, yummy! I had a taste, and saved some for later. such willpower that took hehehe.

Glad no other celebrities died today, those 3 in last 2 days , that is enough.

Catch you tomorrow.
