I'd better get busy feeding the dogs. There's too much to do tomorrow.... take my truck in for a servicing before the trip.... meet someone who's transporting over a ton of donated dog food to Collie Rescue and load it in my trailer..... go home and pick up the 4 oldest foster collies (they're staying with rescue leader while I'm gone 'cause they need TLC) and deliver them 1 1/2 hours south of here to our leaders home. Then I'll need to stock up on feed for everyone else here while I'm gone.

Popping in again for a while (11 p.m. in U.S. central time zone). Rolanda, just think how much more eventful your China trip would have been if it were timed only slightly differently! We're glad you're back safely!

Heidi, you're going to be VERY busy with all those errands! I'm glad the leader of the collie rescue will have those who need more TLC. I was getting a bit worried about that. Wonderful that such a big food donation is coming to Collie Rescue! Is it a group effort or a single donor - maybe a manufacturer? I hope you'll be able to sleep well tonight and not think about everything you need to do tomorrow!

WOW, Rolanda - over 1000 photos! Did you make notes on some of them as you went along? I'd be afraid of forgetting where some of them were taken. (No surprise to all those who have witnessed my too frequent CRAFT's here.)

Good night folks, I am getting sleepier by the minute. Catch all of you tomorrow. I hope to be home all day and more time then. Appreciate the sympothy about my testing supplies. Hubby asked me, can't you just get a new prescription and go to (local pharmacy) or wal mart and pick them up? How I wish you could. I will be back on the phone tomorrow to see if I can get anyone to answer at that place that sends them out.

I don't know who is donating that food. I was just asked to transport it on the last stage of it's journey. The people I'm meeting work for a Service Dog training group, but I don't believe that they are the ones donating it. They have a 2 hour drive to where I will be tomorrow.

Wishing blessings upon whoever is donating the dog food! Our friend and neighbor has a rescue organization, and I know that a LOT of money comes out of her own pocket for food, medications, vet care, etc.

Hello everyone. Just got back from a camping trip today. Had to take the long way 'round because of the Kelowna fire. I know some of you have been worried about us but we are far enough away not to be in danger. Thanks for caring.

Good Morning to all.
I am home alone for the first time in ages. Daughters should be boarding their flight to Canada about now, hubby at work and son at college. Just me, the dogs and the fish at home. Unfortunately the sloshy thing needs to be fed a lot as I couldn't do it yesterday, but I get time to do what I would like in between the feeding.

Suzy hope you have had a favourable result from your last paper. Does this mean that you will be job hunting in the near future?
Heidi try not to tire yourself out too much before Fionafest.
Rolanda, do you have this habit of causing catastrophies when you visit places or was it just a coincidence that you had either just been there or were planning on going?

On Friday in Hong Kong, a few of us.. went sightseeing to NgongPing by train.

up a cable car to the top, great views..
afterwards went to Discovery Bay for lunch, by bus.
Then back to Hong Kong Island by Ferry.
Then a Ferry across Victoria Harbour to Kowloon ( where our hotel is).
On the bus to Discovery Bay.. a Fire Engine passed us heading in the same direction..
the comment was made ~ "We haven't been there yet, too soon for the Fire Engine !!! "

and NO to the causing catastrophies when I visit Places !!!

Hubby says it tastes like something he's had before, possibly Oreos. Alyssa says an icecream cake she has had somewhere. Either way, we all had seconds! Ebob missed out as she was too busy chatting on the phone and has a visitor...

I would say 'lucky' for Rolanda, as in lucky her schedule was the way it was and not a few days off!

Gail/Suzy - I just remembered I have made the ripple cake with ginger nuts many years ago - can't remember what I soaked them in but it must have been alcoholic. Pass me a slice Suzy, would make me feel better.

If anyone has been to Greece, wants to go to Greece or just likes the scenery - do go and see 'My Life in Ruins'. For the first 30 mins I wondered why I was there but it just got better - I really liked it.
