Off to check easy for news of our Canadian family....

Nothing on todays page and dinner is ready so I can't check yesterdays. Has anyone heard anything?

Suzy - have I missed something? Has something happened in Canada - last post I can find from Greg all was well. Must look at a news site. TTFN.

Found there were still bushfires in BC - but I think Kelowna where Greg's daughter lives, is OK. Hope Brenda's girls are OK. And Rena and her family.

Wicked was...well...wicked! Sisters and I had a great time. I am even thinking of taking Hannah this week as it is the last week it is on here, and she has always wanted to see it.

Been so busy in the yard trying to get stuff done while Mike is out of town, that I have neglected the computer. I hope everyone is well.

Gail, trust me, Suzy's brain farts smell a lot better than the ones the Beastie Boys let loose. Believe me, they can clear an entire room in one "outburst."

I got up, had brekkie, now I'm going back to sleep for a while before loading up my sheep. This is SO depressing.

Heidi, thinking about you today. For you to get rid of your sheep is like someone else getting rid of their children.

Having film put onto DVD is so much more user friendly.It is priceless watching weddings and the kids when little etc.

Back from my wonderful weekend away. Believe it or not when we got up on Saturday morning we were not doing anything over the weekend. Richard switched on his laptop while I was still upstairs getting dressed and booked the night away.

Had a wonderful meal last night and rather a large breakfast this morning. Didn't need anything to eat until we got back home at 5:30 this evening.

The girls have moved away from Vancouver, they are now at a place calle Revelstoke, they didn't like Vancouver so changed their plans and moved on early.

Brenda, glad you had a good anniversary weekend.

Just checked on Google earth and found that Kelowna and Revelstoke are 200k apart so girls are not close to the fires. I know they are ok as I have talked to them on SKYPE earlier.

Tomorrow is our end of camp talent show. I get to be Demi Moore to a younger counselor's Ashton Kutcher. I will be spending the next hour or so straightening my hair. NOT an easy job.

I just woke up again. Since I slept all day, I didn't get the sheep moved. I'll have to do it tomorrow. I'm just not feeling well, though I can't figure out what's wrong.

Tami... I want to see a picture of you with straight hair! I don't think I'd recognize you.

I think what's wrong is that you are feeling down because some rotten animal is causing you to lose your beloved sheep. A feeling of powerlessness (is that a word?) always makes me sleepy!

I will post a picture. I am taking a break. Instead of my hair coming out sleek and shiny, it is a frizzy mess. I will probably bring my flat iron to camp tomorrow and see if one of the other counselors can make it look better. I will not be washing my hair in the morning.

Tami, since you don't straighten your hair normally you wouldn't have all of the products people use so it doesn't frizz. It's an art! Just ask Ebob...

I do have the products. I am just not coordinated enough to do my own hair. When I need it done for an occasion, my neighbor comes over and does it for me.

Just had a thought - I know, it hasn't whooshed out of my head yet... One of the things we do is leave in conditioner. A hair dresser once told me it is just regular conditioner watered down. We figured that meant that some of those products people use were just conditioner with a fancy label and higher prices so ... About a 5 cent piece worth through your hair is what they say. It usually ends up more than that when we do it.

You posted while I was typing... where are neighbours when you need them? It's kind of like the police...

The neighbor is home, I just didn't want to bother her. She just came back from vacation yesterday and I know she is getting ready for work tomorrow. I wish Ebob was here to help me.

hehe, you'd do better with Ally. She's the beauty queen in this house. Although Ebob is more than 3 years older than her, she's 2 years behind in the making-myself-beautiful experiments..
