Gooday everyone.
I have been missing in action for a few days now,must confess that I did pop in to read how you all were but didn't have time to stay and post.

Maybe you need another lot of antibiotics Heidi,if you have finished the 1st lot.It is really hanging on,you must be exhausted after so long.Get better.

Has anyone heard from Tricia?

I had a busy 2 days off.Dr's appoint etc,did manage to have a lovely rest yesterday in preparation for another 5 early's.
I bit the bullet and enrolled for an Endorsed Enrolled Nurses course,and if I get in,it will take me 18mths to complete.What have I got myself in for.Will be great for my body when finished though as I wont have the physical stuff I do now.

Gotta run.Enjoy the day everyone.

I still have 3 more days on the antibiotics, Nola. We'll see what happens after that. I don't think they're doing a very good job, tho'.

Heidi, Ken had a bad infection like that earlier in the year (before swine flu) and it took three different antibiotics before they got the right one.
(I am still laughing when I think of him stuck in the tunnel!)
Nola good luck with all the studying. As we get older we do need less of the physical work. The damage comes back years later!
Brenda, enjoy your time in Norman's Bay. Looks like a lovely long beach (of pebbles!). I have a friend at Portslade (Brighton) and have also been to Hastings.
Gail have a wonderful time with you sisters. The quiches sound nice.

Hubby is taking Ebob to baseball today. I get to take her tomorrow, but that game is much closer. This afternoon Ally is going to a friend's house and tomorrow Ebob is working. It's a full weekend for the kids, lots of chauffering for us.

Boy I have missed all of you! The modem on my computer went out, while Al was away on business, and it took forever to get a new one even after he got home and ordered it! WHEW. I am glad to be back!

I have tons of pages to catch up on, no time at the moment, but I hope to read a bit of the old ones as I keep up with the new pages. If anything really important happened in the last 2 weeks, can someone PM me?

"the house" is STILL not done, but is getting closer. we will be painting in a week or so. after that we will be moving in to some pretty rustic conditions, but it will have to do. having 2 mortgages is killing us, time to get rid of one!

Sending healing wishes to all who are under the weather. Looks like we all need to really be careful with hand washing, covering coughs, etc., whatever season we're in. Guess there's no "flu" season any more - just all year round.

Judy, love your running commentary on the intricacies of making eclairs. I'll join Heidi - appearance means nothing. The taste is everything.

June, I enjoyed your description of Ken getting stuck in the tunnels! That's something I don't think I would try - crawling through tunnels.

I'm back, for a moment. Got to meet Dylan's teacher and she seems really nice. I think it is going to be a good school year for him. We get Mitchell's schedule tomorrow, don't know if we will get to meet any teachers. It is good to see our missing friends back.
