Gail, nothing sinister going on between Tami and me. She just just had prior knowledge that I was planning another holiday. So I am on a countdown to a holiday to FLORIDA
hopefully will be able to meet up with Tami

Brenda, remember I am a troublemaker. I like the fact that Gail thought something "sinister" was going on. I am sure we will find a way to meet up. You are going to be 20 minutes away.

Tami I wondered who would be first to ask what my countdown was for. I am too excited to keep it a secret for too long!

everyone. I'm not sociable today. I've been worshipping the Porcelain God.
The only good thing about being sick is that I am actually losing weight! I've gone down 1 clothing size since I was in Florida!

Yesterday, I did a prat fall. I was walking along, minding my own business, and had to step over a Collie. At just the wrong second, she jumped up, tripping me. I landed HARD on one knee, wrenching one shoulder and my neck. I cannot turn my neck in either direction, and have a nasty headache. I've taken some ant-iinflammatories and some pain killers.

Heidi: I have one thing to say: OUCH!! Get better soon!! I am so clumsy, I trip over cracks in the sidewalk!
Hi to Nola, Brenda, TTT, and everyone else. I finally got a decent night sleep (and ANOTHER new humidifier!). Seemed to help, allergies still bad, winds blowing alot, so I put the a/c back on. I don't like having the a/c on much, when the house is closed up, I get claustrophobic!
Got ffuts in the spinny thing, better check on them, TTFN everyone! Enjoy the weekend.

Congratulations Broni, when is the big day?? Are we going to have a guess the weight contest??
Brenda, I was not going to be the one to let out the secret, but I am glad you did. For the rest of you, Pompano Beach is about 15-20 minutes from me depending on traffic. I am not a good organizer or I would try to arrange a BrendaBlast. If anyone else wants to do it, I will help.

Nola, I love mulberries off the tree! I've even thought of planting one except I know it will be forever until I actually get any berries.
Heidi, I'm surprised you don't have more falls like that one with all of the dogs in your house! I hope the pain is temporary...
Brenda, all I've seen of England is Heathrow airport.. snap!

Thanks Tami, Zusy and Brenda, Brea is 6 weeks so late April next year according to the doc. Brenda, I might get my friend Teresa to do some knitting, she has taken it up since she gave up smoking.
Mama, thinking of you. It will be 2 years tomorrow for me and there are still some things I cannot part with.

I have just posted 2 pictures on my page from the wedding. You will actually get to see me with make-up on and in a dress. Did I mention that I had exactly 20 minutes to get dressed after we got settled in our room. We had a few minor problems that, of course, I had to solve.

Hi everyone - hope all is well -
Mama - I wish I could recycle Lenny's clothes, I keep coming up with the excuse that I plan to make a quilt, but now almost 7 years later, still in a box in the garage, just can't face it.

Broni ---- YEEE HAAAAA Baby number ?
Nola + Brenda not sure if it works, but always been told when peeling onions, put some bread in your mouth, sounds weird I know, but try it..
I know there is heaps more I wanted to comment on ----- but please excuse me I had a big night last night and the hang over NOT GOOD.
Girlfriends took me out for my up coming 50th birthday next week, gave me 3 lovely pressies
a bottle of Chandon cuvee riche, a bunch of beautiful flowers and a voucher for a massage enough to cover 3 hours worth, oh my god could use it right about now, might be a good cure for the hang over haha.

Happy upcoming Birthday Liz. Hope we can get together soon for a (note-ONE) drink to celebrate your 50th.
Broni, congratulations on the impending. Hope grandie #1 isn't too put out when 'it' arrives.
I always put a toothpick between my teeth when peeling onions. That way, it keeps your mouth slightly open and breathing through your mouth does not allow the onion vapours to get in so badly.

Gail... That is great advice on peeling onions. I find that peeling them under running water keeps the vapors away, too.
Now my whole body is in agony. I suspect that it's connected more with worshipping the porcelain god than it is with falling over a collie. I don't think my body is fighting off bugs very well right now. I went to lay down for an hour at 2 pm, and slept over 8 hours. When I awoke, I felt like I had been beaten over every inch of my body with a baseball bat.

Hi All...Heidi...you must keep folks that beat you while you sleep out of your house....Sorry...hope you are soon feeling better.
Broni...Hang in there girl...I know the feelings...but keep your eye on the prize of grandie#2...congratulations
Dizzy Lizzy...there is no time table....when you are ready, it will be soon enough...Slow down on the celebrating just a tad....we want you to remember the fun...not feel the pain.....and always drink a couple of glasses of cold water when you first wake up...helps me...btw, I too find that peeling onions under running water helps keep the tears away.
Brenda...what a wonderful trip I hope for you...wish I had known ahead of time..perhaps I could have come to Florida then too...but now my money needs to be replenished first....always something.
I have now sent nine bags of Sully's things out to others...hope they wear them in good health, there is still a bit more to go that will wait ...it was hard, yet good in many ways...Sully was always after me to do just what has been done, so I feel that I have continued to honor his wishes...Hold fast to the love, but let the things go he often told me...and that's been done! Peace for now....see you on the flip side.

Mamacita... I like to think that Sully is helping others who need a little hand up right now.
Now back to bed. The aspirin and methadone are helping with the body aches a bit. I'm hoping that this is just a 24 hour bug.

Heidi, like your thinking, most of JD's stuff went up North to the Aboriginal communities, have a friend who does a trip twice a year. BTW think it was the porcelain god and the collie adventure, you have been using muscles you do not normally use. Body Hurt Ouch!
