Good Morning gang!
Bean - thanks for asking about who T-Vas is...I, too, am in the dark on that one.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Bean's #1, Lachie! Hope he has the BEST day!
Wonder what Jessie has in store for him?
Brenda - how cool that Ceilia is going on holiday with her friend - I will picture him as modest and handsome as those images from Bondi Beach of Suzy's has me feeling quite squeamish!
Giggles and tears here on this page.
Lizzie - your day with Jan and her family sounded bitter sweet. How lovely to have such warm memories of someone. NOT the case with my mom. Glad you were there with them yesterday.

Temps dropped here overnight (38F this morning!) Ahhhhhhh - fall is here! Can't wait for some stormy weather. We just had a sprinkling yesterday.
Gail (Bean's slave) - you cracked me up sneaking onto her pooter and posting here...just like a good oppressed worker would do! Can't wait to see all the results of your hard work. What an angel of a friend you are!

Speaking of birthdays...our very own Troublemaker's is just around the corner. What are your plans, Tami? Hope you have lots of wonderful surprises in your day (Friday)!
Well, I'm off to see if I can find Lachie's page to leave a b'day greeting - will wait a bit for yours, Tami...45...a spring chicken (sorry Cyn)

Good Morning Vici and Gail.
I am dropping in without reading to say HERE I IS.
Today is my appointment for my block, this afternoon. I just finished my breakfast and coffee, now, nothing else to eat today, I think that will be the hardest part.
I will check back in sometime tomorrow. any prayers you can say, would be appreciated.

Morning all!
It's going to be a quick drop in from me until later. I get to do all the morning stuff on my ownsome today, including running out to buy the milk I forgot to buy yesterday...
Thinking of you MizT!
Love the bean pod!
SA9 sounds like a good idea Gail, but our new pager is not going to be around until tomorrow at the earliest...

Hi everyone. Does anyone remember the record we set with SA6? I know there was more on SA6 than SA7.
Tricia, hoping for the best with the epidural. Hope your back is better soon and you are back with us.

Hi Tami, I just checked and you've got it backwards.... SA6 had 15974 comments over 400 pages, and SA7 had 17024 comments over 426 pages! Wow! How did we do that?

Okay, now I need to reset the day. What a messed up morning! First I had to rush off to buy milk because I forgot to yesterday. Then I realised the bin wasn't out and had to put that out too - luckily the rubbish collection was late today. Hubby asked me a question about his homework and I was late getting the kids out of bed. I pulled out all of the stuff to make their lunches and hubby asked me another question. Then Ally couldn't find a school shirt so I had to help in the search. I'm on the internet looking for information about univeral distributed load when Ebob comes in to say goodbye, I ask if she has packed her lunch and realise I forgot to make it! The girls made it to the bus with lunches, but hubby has gone to work even more confused than he was when he asked me the questions! Stupid instructor - I saw his notes and he's done something weird!

Suzy, we all have mornings like that. I am not really here. I am helping Mitchell with science homework. He has to label about 30 different bones in the body. Good thing he doesn't have to label all 206 bones in the body.
Since we are already on page 402, I think we should aim for 450 pages.

Forgot to mention, I spoke to LynnDee today. She has been busy taking care of her grandson. Her daughter has a full time job so she is the full time babysitter. She is loving every minute but has no time. Baby is now 6 weeks old.

Greetings, All! I'm just starting to read, so please bear with me as I comment.
Liz, I hope the day went smoothly! Luckily you were able to share the memories with good friends!
I'm confused about T-Vaz and Brat.
Judy, you're allowed to nag Rob if he does too much. He is supposed to be recovering!
Gail, how nice of you to pop in! We miss you when you don't stop in. I hope pictures will be posted of the Bean Pod, once everything is completed!
Bean, thinking positive thoughts for you as you await results of x-ray and ultrasound! Don't over-do. You need to heal as quickly as possible!
Oh, Brenda, what good news for Celia (the holiday, not sure about the naturist)!

Vici, I continue to enjoy your platypus avatars & smilies! I believe tomorrow is carpet day in your humble abode. I hope everything goes smoothly with the installation.
Yay, MizT dropped by - and double yay, she has had her epidural and is hopefully feeling much better! We're thinking of you, MizT!
Weather seems to be a common topic for us topsiders! It seems many of us (Vici and Suzanne) have experienced a sudden shift from summer to late fall temperatures. On Sunday, we had water aerobics in the outdoor pool. Sunday night and Monday we had a lot of wind and a huge temperature drop. We've been mostly in the 40* F range since then.
Suzy, what a BUSY morning you have had! I hope the rest of the day has gone much more smoothly!
CynB, I hope you and your aunt had a good visit with your Mum today!
Thanks for the update on LynnDee, Tami! So, is T-Vaz Suzanne? I'm still in the dark here.
Hoping Heidi will soon be able to return here and that all is well!

Afternoon all. Good visit with Mum - she was in good spirits today.
Yes, I'll bite too - who is T-Vaz and Brat. Seems Tami doesn't want to enlighten us yet.
Broni - antibiotics again!! Did you try the homeopath? Even though he got a bad review on one of the current affair shows last week - he has dome some amazing things for people we know, including Col.
Things to do - back later.
Still no sign of Heidi - I miss all her smilies and hope her animals are OK.

Broni, sorry to hear you are back on the antibiotics. I was hoping that was over when you came off them before...
Warning: There will be swearing in this next comment.
Does anyone remember the TimTam ads with the genie? The ones where the woman wishes for a packet of TimTams that is never empty. Well I have finally worked out where the inspiration for the ad came from. A woman advertising executive was listening to her workmates talk about their plans for the evening or weekend. They were talking about going out for a drink, going for a game of golf, surfing, whatever. In the back of her mind she could see a weekend of washing/ironing/folding stretching out in front of her, all from her seemingly bottomless clothes baskets. She thinks what if.... and voila! A TimTam ad!

I too have heard of people getting amazing results from a naturopath (including me), though I have also heard of people just spending endless amounts of money and not noticing any difference. I don't know why sometimes it is wonderful and sometimes not.
Juicy goss: The naturopath that I went to also saw James Cromwell (Farmer Hoggett from Babe)
