It seems that SA7 is getting old and slow. It is time for a new page. Welcome to SA8.

As I don't look on the Forum page very often I didn't know anything about SA9 until Gail mentioned it. As we don't seem to have any posting problems here and no one had mentioned 'moving house' I went and had a look.

Good morning all! It's been a while and I haven't caught up yet. My in-laws left on Tuesday and have been catching up on various things slowly! I too have a direct link to SA8, so I didn't know there was an SA9 until I went to see June's picture of the dust and came back in through the Forum. I wonder who "from" is?
Anyway, hope all is well with everyone! I hope the dust storms have subsided and the clean up is not too difficult. I can't imagine that much dust in every nook and crevice. Yikes!

Finished priming the entire outside of the house. It has gotten unseasonably cold, so won't be able to start painting the color yet. Of course, we have to agree on one first! At least the shingles are protected and the broken and damaged ones were repaired by Jerry and his dad. I was hoping to at least start on it because I would like it done before Meghan's graduation in May. It just takes a long time with only one person doing it, me! I'll work on the inside of the house over the winter.

For those of you not on Facebook, last weekend was Parents' weekend at Meghan's college. We had a blast! A few glitches a long the way (the spiedies never defrosted for the barbeque), but overall, great! We had a tailgating party at her "apartment" and many more people came than was expected. It was nice to see all of her friends. The kids challenged the parents and Meghan's grandpa to Beer Pong, a beer drinking game that college kids play. We had a lot of fun and the "elders" even won a few games! The day was gorgeous and the football game was great. It went into overtime and Boston College won! It was a great weekend and Jerry's parents were really glad that they got to see the kids, even though it was a very long trip for them and a lot of running around.

Hi folks...
We had a wonderful day.
We have yum cha down to a fine art... it was delicious as per usual! Wonderful company makes it a a double treat.
Lachie and I then moseyed over to Warrandyte and had coffee with my sister. Haven't seen her for ages and it was good to catch up. Eventually arrived home about 7.00'ish. I popped a cork to celebrate the big event in my life 19 years ago.
Nice to see that Heidi was up to popping in briefly... I'm

Morning all!
Last day of school today - well for the term anyway. After school they have bowling, then Ebob heads off to Wollongong ready for the baseball country championships (please no rain) and Ally has rehearsal. Tomorrow morning early we will head off to Wollongong to watch the games, then tomorrow night I'm going to David Campbell! Woo hoo!

I can't believe someone would have the audacity to start SA9 without the proper go-ahead from MizT. Do you suppose we can get Gath to get rid of it until WE'RE ready? Good idea, CynB and Suzy to boycott it!
HEIDI! We're so glad you were able to pop in and update us! Just getting to the things you have to do can be tough when depression sets in! Sending lots of love and hugs! We will always be glad to see a post from you when the time is right!

Is "from" a person who posts on Easy and either agrees with you or lambasts you when he/she disagrees? "From" might see it as a real joke to start SA9 and divert our comments to his/her page.

To all who are wondering who T-vaz and Brat are. I'm not telling and you can't make me. Julie, you were wrong but closer than you think. Someone else around here knows the truth but has been sworn to secrecy. I will try to drop hints and see how long it will take someone to figure it out. One of the names is an acronym, but I won't tell you of what.

'from' sometimes posts on easy and I suspect it's someone who also posts under other name/names. Just stirring up the pot!
Anyway - good morning lovely people.
Can't remember anything else I read.
So hello to Julie, Suzy, Nola, Stella, Beanie, Broni, Brenda and Gail. Missing you both MizT and Heidi.
And a great big
to Tami the T. Have a great day.

I have just finished baking my 2nd batch of brownies. I am going to surprise the teachers tomorrow (friday). I figure, its my birthday, I can bring the surprise. Besides, most of my friends think I make the best brownies and they have been asking me to bring in some more.

Stella, thanks for your thoughts re my family.
My sister still has no date for her op - waiting on the surgeon to get back from holidays. But she has been cleared of any cardiac problems - the surgeon wanted her checked out before he would operate.
My son, although still trying to sort things out and concerned for his girls, is actually settling down well to single life - he is enjoying his freedom. He phones me everyday, he texts me, he chats to me on FB - this is the man who once would talk to me every 2 weeks then usually in monosyllables - I LOVE having my son back - Yee Haaa! Things will change next week when school goes back and he has the sole responsibility of Emily - getting her to school etc every day. Won't hurt him but she'll miss her Mum and sisters.
