Today is feed the machine day. I am finally getting back into a routine. Tuesday is hsaw day. Man oh man, I so wish I didn't have thirty dirty kids...I don't you say! Only three teenage daughters...well, where did all those clothes and towels come from!!!
Hannah has finished school, so I might slip out with her and do some more Chrissy shopping. We might even locate a real tree, sorry scouts!

I fed the dreaded machine all day yesterday, and will be again today. Curtains and blankets today so they are all fresh for mum's visit.

No real tree for us, but I want to get back to the tree paddock to see if we have any noice smelling pines that would be willing to donate a couple of sprigs to our festive season..

#2 boy got the tree out of the shed yesterday and is now in the Family Room.
He also got the plastic see thru crate that holds all the decorations for the tree out of the shed, which is now located outside the family room under the patio..
Now we just need someone to remove said deocrations and place on the tree..

I guess my boxes include all my shelf and wall decs. Mum has made me a lot over the years too - all the wooden ones.

The tree fairy must be protesting poor work conditions.

We bought a lot of new ornaments a couple of years ago. D#1 wanted a theme tree! We decided on purple and silver, which looks very nice.
Still have most of the other tree trimmers we used to have but don't use them any more.

Today I did my shopping for foods to take to the party. Aldis did not have the Lima beans I wanted and they wanted way to much for the sweet potatoes that were not even the kind I buy. I buy round end sweet potatoes not pointy end. Mine always turn out tasty, that might be the reason. Today I got the kind I wanted and for 30 cents a pound cheaper too! Adds up when you are buying pounds and pounds of sweet potatoes!

OH, we were given the nicest oranges and lemons today, both were HUGE. A customer came up from Florida to visit Al and they brought fruit from their trees. I am enjoying the fresh lemon in my iced tea and had an orange at lunch today, yummy, juicy and sweet.

Tomorrow is doctor day, not fun having to sit and wait so long in his waiting room. I have a lot of things I need to do, but have not get enough of it done today. I have tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday morning, before D#3 and her fiance get here. Oh well, I will do what I can and do the rest when she is here, I know I will be up hours each day fore they get up, they like staying up all night and sleeping most of the day, when not working.

I am off to fling food, and wrap my gift for Saturday. I just picked that up Saturday. I did not have time to sew any, boo hoo, and probably will not till after Christmas bummer. New sewing machine and not able to use it!

MizT.... I always take advantage of the wait at the Doctor's by taking a nap there. Sometimes it is hard to get comfy, though.

Good morning lovely SA7 people -
Vici - that (power outage) might be why I can't get an email through to you despite the blacklist message!
Heidi - glad you got off jury duty.
Rolanda - I'll send my daughter over. She does my tree decorations because since she was about 10, I couldn't be trusted to 'do it right'! That goes for shopping, finding my way out of a paper bag, anything really - she now has a daughter, nearly 8 - her time is coming!

I just won 2 more Red Golden pheasants on eggbid.... both females. The others are settling in nicely... they love the heated building and rarely go outside in this nasty weather. Do you think I'm spoiling them?

Rolanda - Ho Ho! I'm sure she'd be there in a flash if she could. If there's one thing that girl loves it's organising everyone else. Hope she's not reading this - she has a habit of lurking around the easy pages but not here, I hope.

Actually, CynB, I'm not off jury duty. I'll be "on call" for a year. but the odds are that I won't have to serve. Not unless we have a serious crime wave here. Even the last bank robber in the county 2 years ago) never made it to a jury trial. It got settled out of court with a plea bargain.

Sorry Heidi - I did read that. Bad terminology on my part. A year is a long time to be on call - anything could happen during that time even in a quiet area like yours. Hope it doesn't, though, for your sake.
