Mizt, your sister must have appreciated your present wrapping. Sharon and Laura started mine on Saturday. Laura added lots of sticky tape!!!!
And then I finished them last night. Just wrapped and labelled. Nothing fancy. Toooo many.

Saw some pix of the ice storms in US.It looks so beautiful.

Nola, when will you catch up with the twins? Pleased to hear they are now walking and will get into more mischief!

Looks like I wont see the girls until after christmas now.Son & DIL want us to spend xmas lunch with them there in Bundy.
They have the 3 boys and I see them often,love them dearly,but it would have been nice to see the girls walking.Will go down the next time I have 3 days off work.

The boys are getting so excited about christmas.Takes you back to your childhood watching there faces when they see the wrapped presents.
Looks like being a hot one here,they have a pool so thats where I will be most of the time.

Finally as an end to my cping...just want to tell you Vici to enjoy the snow....I don't envy you...today we have temps reaching almost 70degrees(f)...this is spring weather, not winter...but I'm loving it...next week I will be in balmy Florida for the holidays with family...so I get to have more warmth...Wonderbar!!!

Mama... we were told that the majority of cases were settled before they made it to the jury. I just hope that I don't get a case where a child was abused. I would vote to hang on the first day.

I slept in this morning and am running late. And you've all just reminded me that last year I wrapped all the presents before the kids finished school and it was wonderful. What happened to this year - I know - sudoku!

June my wrapping is n othing fancy either - if the present is completely covered then I've done a good job! MizT's beautiful present made me wonder if I should try a little harder, then I thought nah, why confuse people.

Broni, yes it will feel like forever! But I have asked hubby to move the computer and Mum's 'room' is kind of like a mini-apartment minus kitchen and bathroom. Love her to death, but a month?

Nola, my oldest has actually become more excited over christmas as she has aged. Just to make everyone jealous - my girls have never woken early on xmas morning. We usually wake them up around 8.30.

MizTricia I loved that video! The least romantic gift hubby ever gave me was a mail box - and he protested and resisted but I insisted it was what I wanted.

Last night's rain turned to freezing rain, then snow before morning. High temperature here today will be 10* F with wind chills ("real-feel") about 10-1* BELOW zero F. We had to be out of the house by 6:30 am. to get to appointments. (Nothing serious - just those inevitable kinds of check-backs appts.)

As soon as we got home from appts., hubby was called in to help with installation of come trophy cases he and a friend had built. Cases were made in May including out-of-pocket expenses for materials. They were finally paid late last week. There was no prior arrangement for them to help with installation. He left the house about 11:40 a.m. - NO lunch - and isn't back home yet (4:04 p.m.) and will not receive any further compensation.

I will need to do some reading, but first I need to do some ffuts!
