Yes, Suzy has been dragged off to the shops. Poor thing. I'd hate to be in her shoes so close to Christmas. The crowds must be awful. And the PARKING!

Well that is where I am off to today, eeek! Maximum two hours and I am out of there. Going to take the girl for a walk before it heats up.

We have to go to the shops too! I know hubby wants to buy something and I still have a few stocking fillers to get. Sorted them out last night and so far, have done pretty well. Only one person I haven't got anything for...you should have seen the pout on hubby's face!!!

Hi all its nice to be home for a while Adelaide family are up during Jan 4th to 21st so will be lovely.
We are off to Tasmania in Feb for 2 weeks & we will be in victoria so hope to catch up with you Gail we are driving down & putting the car on the boat day trip there & back will be in touch.

There was no chance of a sleep-in this morning. Not sure what the neighbour is up to NOW, but earthmoving equipment rocked up at 8am this morning!

No its just been Adelaide it was Perth earlier in the year then down to Coffs Harbour for a week then our cruise for amonth then Adelaide the weather there was lovely then it was home to the heat we are off to D1 for xmas then off to MiL for boxing day then home sat Vics at golf sun

Hi Mary, have been working on my boat getting it ready to sell, my friend Peter has been helping me. Going to a friends for Christmas lunch, they live just down the road. Teresa will be over late afternoon and my cousin is coming for dinner.

Hello SA7, here I am in Adelaide. Had a fabulous day yesterday, my niece had a pampering brunch for 12 of us. Massages, manicures (from professionals) and fantastic food. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now.

Hehe Heidi - no more than 2 TOPPs huh? BTW, I think I would give up animals if I had to feed them in that weather!

Gail - puff up along with me, but we had better not try to be in the same room 'cause we won't fit!

I didn't go to the shops - stood my ground and said I didn't want to go until I had a complete list - would rather go once in a crowd than twice!

When did I say anything about "no more than 2 TOPPs"? I know I have accidentally gotten 3 so far.
Feeding animals in this weather is just part of the lifestyle description. I also had to sort out 6 bigger lambs. I have some Mexicans coming over here in the next day or 2 to buy 4 of them. I prefer giving them a choice. Since it will be MUCH colder tonight and tomorrow, I decided to be smart and do it today.

I FINALLY got the lights on the Christmas tree!!!! I'm about half way done with the ornaments. Mostly animals, of course.

And I scared everybody away. What did I say to make you all leave?

Suzy the photos of Ally are really lovely! I'm so glad those nasty girls didn't put her off - they are probably just jealous because they have no talent and nobody likes them!

I must have missed the third topp Heidi... I'm pages behind! Which is not like me at all. Not scared away, still trying to get ffuts done while I catch up.

Heidi - hello, I'm here! (for the moment) You certainly have lots of work to do - I don't envy you going out in the freezing cold!

Judy, I don't think they knew she had talent - she has kept it well hidden from her school 'friends'. I think she shocked them all!

They swore Heidi, so action was taken. Now if they'd just left bruises....

The dress looked gorgeous, and so did she! So glad she took them by surprise and showed them what she could do!

You guys are so nice! I can't wait to show Ally the comments - when she wakes up...

BTW - we were 'told' last night that she would be performing at Kids Day Out on 18 Jan - shame she doesn't know the songs yet!

Just looked at the photos, Suzy. Ally is GORGEOUS in that red dress. It looks like it was made for her.

(I'm so glad that they didn't leave physical bruises. Emotional ones are bad enough. Arresting them for physical assault isn't worth it.)

Just to balance the parental pride thing...

Ebob's baseball team played against the number 1 team yesterday. Last time they played I think they lost about 22 to 1 or something embarrassing like that. Yesterday they lost 13-11, and probably would have won but the game was called on time (youngun's are not allowed to play for too long). Ebob caught a fly ball in the outfield and pitched the only non-scoring innings! She actually got 4 out. I of course had to ask how she could get 4 out when 3 out is the end of the innings.... Apparently on the third strike if the catcher drops the ball the runner can run. Now that I've made her sound pro-level I will divulge that a part of the reason she gets them 'out' is that she is a slow pitcher and the batters tend to swing too early... still a skill!
