Oh! I just realised I missed Gumball's birthday!

Please pass on my belated wishes to the tree lover, Rena.

Me Becky!
Last night was date night and that red wine was a killer. Won't even admit what time I finally crawled out of bed, and would like there to be something to show for my brave efforts in being semi-vertical!
Gone for real now, BYE!

Gail... I often feel that not breaking any bones is a major accomplishment each day. Don't need much else.

Heidi, told hubby I'd rather have broken my leg than have this ear thing still going on. Finally went to the bone cracker and believe it or not, it actually seems to be getting better. Knock on wood.

Heidi, have you tried setting traps for the oppossums? We used to have one around here that was huge, over 2 foot long.

I don't think you'd have liked to break your leg the way I did mine. A year and a half ago. The surgeon gave up counting all the hairline fractures while repairing the compound one. It's still swollen and the tendon is inflamed. A year and a half later. There's a 10 inch plate holding it together. Permanently.

My Vet ran over my 2 foot one. Flat as a pancake. IH borrowed my bigger one to trap raccoons in his goat area. I think he gave it away. It's disappeared.

I don't have any plates or pins, but have broken a finger and a foot. Do know what you mean about the aching and pain. Think that's why I hate winter. If I get too cold, it starts.

Yeah, saw "them." You'd think that the person would have something better to do with his time.

Been thinking that after the new year, getting IM set up and look into Skype. Don't have a web camera, but I don't think it's needed.

Offered to take Hubby out for dinner but he said he just wants to stay home. After a big breakfast, takeaway pizza for lunch, I must admit I did not feel much like going out either.
I had to laugh at Laura today. When she arrived I had all the makings ready for her to make a pakage teacake. When it came out of the oven I gave her my box of birthday candles and she got out the long thin ones that go straight into the cake. The cake was still very hot and of couse they melted and fell over. She was getting very frustrated! I got out some regular ones and they were OK.

Jue, I've really only glanced over earlier posts, so please excuse this silly query.
Do I take it that it's hubby's birthday today?

What a big day it's been then!
Sounds like a quiet night in is well in order!

The first time I got here all day, but it's my tomorrow - almost 1 am here. I'll try to read a few, but then it's off to bed for me. Hi, Becky, Gail, Heidi and June!

Well Christmas is nearly upon us.
Can hear some fireworks going off outside here.
I hope everyone is having lots of fun doing their chrissy shopping etc.
I had a massive headache this morning and stayed in bed all morning.
It has eased somewhat now thank heavens.

I hope all the Sudoku friends that I sent cards to received them.
I have a few small gifts to wrap that I will finish tomorrow and then attach the gift tags and I am done.
I am trying to log my Avon order thru online but the Avon server is down and it will not accept it. It has to be logged by 6am tomorrow morning for me to receive it Wednesday. I will try once more shortly before I hit the sack and if not I will have to ring them in the morning.

Nice and quiet in here. Ethan has his friend Ben staying overnight. Hopefully they will manage some sleep at some stage of the night. I have been given two more territories for Avon so will spend tomorrow getting my C4 brochures organized.

Good Maen dear SA7...thought I'd don my wreath this morn to match my twin Viv.
Julie - thanks for the summary!
Ken - sorry I missed it!
Heidi - went to your gallery looking for a opossum picture, might have misunderstood - but had a good time there any-who.

Viv - hope your headache is gone by now.
I'm off to drive to the Bay Area for a Chrissie day in the city with my family (minus Mike).
It's a very nice day my niece planned with brunch, ice skating (I'll pass on that - all this talk about broken bones and all!) and walking tours of the stores and holiday decor.

Cute avatar Becky! When we visited an ice bar in Melbourne, it was -25C and I had to leave just before the 30 min was up although we didn't have the full sets of clothes you'd wear there. I can't imagine living in those sorts of temperatures.
