You mentioned it a while back, Heidi...when we were talking about accents. You said that people picked up a hint of your northern beginnings which didn't fit with where you live now.

Just thought that I'd pass on that Amelia on Easy's dad passed away yesterday after being rushed to hospital on Jan 1.

Tami is probably in school right now. I hope you got all the papers corrected so you could start the new year with fresh ones.

Today FIL will undergo neurosurgery. Hubby's in the city with his mum. We almost lost him post surgery last year, so hoping this one will be uneventful.

No prob Julie, such things would never offend me. Anyway, you were saying goodnight to those in bed, which I'm not. Waiting up for S2 to get home from a party. Aah, just heard the door. 'night

Susan.... Thanks for letting us know about Amelia's dad. She moved back home a few months ago to be near her parents so she could help them manage. I'll bet that she doesn't regret that right now.

Woke up to snow this morning. Had to take Richard to the station and Emily to school.
Just getting ready to take Andrew to the dentists.
And as I said before I have the workman in again.. New year has started to get busy

Morning friends! I slept in this morning, after being rudely awakened middle of the night for a t storm! Weather was not that bad, but for some reason, it made me hurt, woke me up when it was 5 miles from us. I could not figure out what wrong till I looked at the weather map and saw storm coming at us! Had a couple uncomfortable hours fore I decided a nice hot shower might put me back to sleep. Worked, and I slept late this morning to make up for missed sleep last night!

HI VICI, have a safe trip and no snow storms for you is my wish.

Happy Anniversary Gail, enjoy your time home with Scott. Did you drive home? Or fly? No, you cannot read 24 pages, if it is important, we will talk about it again!

BRENDA, so happy I did not wake to snow today! It is 62F (16.6C) damp and grey degrees today here, rather warm for morning temps for us in January!

Morning everyone. Almost time to start school here. We have had such a long holiday, I don't want to do it. We had a longer break than we did in the summer. All good things must come to an end. Now if only the snow would end. It has snowed almost every day since I got home and the forecast is for snow all week. It is snowing now. Must go, see you later.

susan- i hope your FIL get through the surgery with no scares this time! to him.
brenda- i must have missed it..what are the workmen working on this time? not more bathroom stuff is it?
i get to work on electrical this next while. where do the switches go? sconces, can lighting, fans, lamps, plugs, exterior lighting, any sounds systems etc. i have not a clue where to start thinking about all that stuff so i thought i would just not think about it! problem solved!

hi and bye rena...enjoy all that snow! i don't mind the snow as long as the roads are plowed. i just hate it when the snow starts to melt and all the junk it was covering up is revealed. yuck!
