I took some Excedrin Migraine, but it hasn't had enough time to work.

Got the calf tagged. A noice big bull calf. We now have 14 calves, on the 14th of February. I do expect another one today.

I didn't look at the numbers!!!!!

Heidi, I was here very early, but you are correct, I forgot to put out coffee this morning. Thanks for taking up the slack today.

Want to hear a silly story about silly Tricia? Our power was off for a bit last night. We had candlelight, and had to talk to each other for entertainment. Lights came back on for us to watch TV, then I went to bed early. I woke from a very sound sleep, looked at the clock that said 6 am, got up to start my day. figured it was going to be late fore the sun made any impact on the day, cause of the clouds and the rain. Turned on the computer and then did a double take, why was my computer clock so far off this morning? Did it get it's little brains rattled when the lights flickered on and off so many times.

THEN somehow, it dawned on me, the computer clock was correct, it was 1:30 am. My bedside electric clock was so very wrong! Oh dear. I reset the time, then climbed back in bed and slept till it really was 6:30 am hehehe.

Trouble's Mom, sorry to hear about your shingles. BIL had it a couple of years ago and know what he went thru. He checked into a vaccine (Zostavax)that might help. I'll send you a link that talks about it. Hope your doc has given you something for it.

I talked IH into picking up carry-out Chinese tonight, so I won't have to cook. Can't go out because of all the calving and lambing.

Susan - it sounds like things are finally settling down in your little town. Yay! Did you ever get the antibacterial stuff my mother heard was going to be distributed? I read they were going to get right on the cleaning up stuff to stop dengue fever from making it into your region. Just another thing to add to your list of things to worry about!! I am half dreading my kids leaving home, and half looking forward to it..

My peaceful time listening to the rain is being disturbed by the radio - drat. I'm listening to hear if baseball has been cancelled today. Nothing so far. Would much rather be listening to the rain!

Hi everyone. Just a quick visit. My mom has been lucky with the shingles. So far, all she is saying is that it is annoying. I know it can be painful. She has also been tired. Dylan was sick most of the week so she was on babysitting detail. About to go out so I will see you all tomorrow.

They are still going, some raging, but they seem to be able to make containment lines now so the burning is in the forests, not threatening towns.

I couldn't get comfortable in bed this morning so I decided to come and spend some time in here. I have only been ducking in lately, too many other things to be looking at on the pooter. Luckily, the fire site is fairly quiet. *touches wood*

I am off to do the puzzles and then prob get some more packing done for Renae.Cleaned fans windows and sliding door tracks yesterday.Took some cutting from the garden and trimmed the grass from the fence line.Catch you all later.
