They are both in Sydney at the moment Suzy, and possibly could not get to their places if they tried. They both have cattle but they are on higher ground.

Suzy, I go through stages and talk like mad some days. We need people to keep chatting to keep the site going.

I read an article last night about farmers in Victoria who are having to sell their animals because the land is not capable of supporting them right now. I remembered Heidi's chat about her bulls and favourite cows while reading it.
Brenda - I'm getting there...

I agree with June we need people like you Suzy who chat a lot. Life would be boring if everyone just said a couple of words each day. I enjoy reading the chatter, Keep it up

I wasn't nagging (well I was) Suzy. I wouldn't know where to start on something like that. I was hopeless at writing essays when I was at school (I've been left 36 years now. It is probably one of the reasons I don't chat for long as I never know what to say

I have live messenger too, but really only used it to talk with Richard while he is at work and occasionally the kids if I am too lazy to go upstairs to ask them whatever it is I wanted

Brenda I haven't tried to do that either, I would have to be on the lap top to try, but Broni switched on her cam once and I got to see her and Bella. That was fun!
A friend visited last night and approved of the orange we have chosen for our lounge room walls. I'm still wondering..
She needs lots of hugs right now, her daughter has OCD and it is sabotaging her HSC efforts... Started when a 'friend' threw powdered chemicals over her in science. Though she was very stressed before that happened, that was the trigger.

We had internet phones a few years back but they were not very successful and have only just started using Skype. We have been in touch with Richard's cousin who he hasn't seen or spoken to for over 20 yrs. I spoke with my brother in Canada one evening and to my brother who is in Australia at the moment visiting his daugther

Brenda, the essays were the hardest part of this course. I'm a science person and hadn't written an essay since I left high school! I worked it out eventually, but it is still tough going.

HUGs for our friend Suzy. We have two friends who have this problem. One (17yr old) realises she has a problem and is getting help, the other (47 yr old) doesn't realise or will not admit he has a problem.

I have 15 minutes until the morning rush starts - think I need coffee to sustain me. Hubby left at 5.45am so he could spend some time doing a drawing for the baseball club before starting his regular work. That means I'm the only nagger available today...

I find if I want a 'good coversation' I prefer to be on the phone. Sometimes the echo and delay is like the calls to overseas were like some years ago.

Have coffee, will survive...
Brenda, your 47 year old friend has 2 strikes against him - he's older and 'should be able to cope with anything', and he's a man and 'should be able to cope with anything'. I hope he gets help eventually.
My friend's daughter is also 17 and is getting help, but it isn't frequent enough. She can wait weeks between appointments! One of my daughters has a friend with OCD and she is getting weekly appointments. The two girls have very different problems too - one washes her hands obsessively and sees dirt everywhere (one time her backpack was put on her bed by one of her parents, any clothes that were put on the bed after that were put back in the wash, her parents now put her clothes away when she isn't home). The other does things like swing when she is upset.

If you can be here in 30 minutes there would be some, but after that there is no chance
3 hungry kids and a husband who loves lasagne makes sure of that

Hi Nola, glad you made it home but sorry it was such a stressful trip. You didn't say it was stressful, but I have been stuck behind an accident before so am making assumptions...
I made lasagna for the first time a couple of weeks ago. A very simple recipe with only mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. We ate it at a friend's house and my family loved it so I got the recipe. It is very yummy.

I'm not here, it's the morning rush, but I need to take a deep deep breath... My girls were just fighting over the speed the first one who got the sugar was using it - she must have been deliberately going slow just to annoy the other one... I went years pretending noone ever put sugar on their cereal and this was not an issue. I can't remember if it was hubby or my mother who corrupted them - whichever one it was should have had to deal with that stupid argument!

Good Morning SA7, hope you are all well.
We are up to page 398, will we be changing at 400? Although this time we do not seem to be having too many problems.
Almost half an hour since anyone posted.
Nola glad you made it home safely.
Yes where is eaa? Reminds me about time I did a backup on my puter.
Well off to get ready for another joyous day with D&D.

Speaking of the girls Suzy,I had many laughs with them.Just love to see them dancing to an ad on TV when a catchy tune plays and one taking the others dummy out and putting in in her mouth.
Neither have sugar either.I loved my porridge with brown sugar!

SUZY, now that takes the cake, arguing over how long one uses the sugar! If that is an ongoing argument at your house, you can fix that cheaply. Buy a second sugar bowl and put on the table!

It is summer again, temps to 75 and above. Tornado warnings for an area about 60 miles north of us from a small T storm going across. NO huge storm line, this is different.
Last night, the temp over night went UP instead of down. that is unusual also. Winds changed from cold north winds to warm moist south winds. So atmosphere is juicy and ripe for tornadoes and t-storms. We are on weather watch, it is breezy here, and the cats want me to turn off the wind once again hehehe. I have hunted summer clothing.

The would just find something different MizT. Ally especially is having a lot of grumpy moments right now. Some of the arguments are just stupid! They were both overly polite and sweet when I went back from my deep breath...

I am about to do some washing too Suzy. Cleaning day and Hubby reluctant to leave the bed (NOT a morning person)and lots to pick up off the floor (and I had a girl yesterday who has had things out) so I should not be here either.

I had lots of comments to make but I've forgotten what they were - Broni's got a boarder, Suzy's girls found out that other people put sugar on cereal (I did that with my kids too - worked for years!), Brenda made lasagne (Yum), nice story about the dummies, Nola - oh, what else? It was probably important!
