Very quiet here on my day off Rola hehe!
Had a lovely lunch with a friend and her 12 week old baby girl, what a head of hair she has.

Obviously not a Broni Free Day !!!

I've been napping on and off all day. Gonna do one final cow check now, then go to bed. I still feel nauseous, so hope I don't spend another night on my knees.

Broni, your SIL sister has lost a lot but it could have been a lot worse. Hope she doesn't get too depressed at all that needs to be done and replaced.Have you thought any more about finding a new job to get away from D&D?

Our friends we dined with last night both have properties in the Tarree, Kempsey area with creeks and rivers. Homesteads are above water level though.

Thanks Brenda, yes she is a survivor and a tough one at that, she was meant to be at the Murray River that weekend, think she will be OK has a lot of support around her, but she lost her husband last May just before I was visiting Gail, glad I caught up with her then.
Zusy, Possum was only about 50k from Port Macquarie and he made it back, so hope all is OK.

Brenda not sure what to do, you and I are in similar fields so just biding my time, finances are a bit thin but now have a boarder (thanks Dag) which has eased the situation, rather like not working full time so will squeeze out what I can without going troppo.

Hi and Bye SA7. We are okay Suzy. Yesterday was just awful but I was home all day.
Today I have been out and about doing Avon deliveries etc, started by taking hubby to work at 8am and went from there.
Finally finished about 5pm.
Lots of water around but it is receding now.

Hi Broni, I am in a position that I don't really need to go to work. Just have to cut back a little on extravagances.

Good morning all of my favorite SA people! Hope you are having/had/will have a lovely day! I don't have time to catch up again, off to PT, then have to bring Ian to the dentist and then he has a soccer game. Tomorrow he has a soccer tournament and on Saturday as well. Did do something at the spur of the moment last night. Since we didn't do anything for V day, I asked hubby to go to the movies. We usually only go on birthdays or holidays. Jerry and I went to see "International" and Ian and his friend went to see "Pink Panther 2." I was a bit disappointed with it, especially the ending, but Ian absolutely loved the Pink Panther.

I need to get dressed and do another cow check. I'm praying that the cows will calve fast and furious in the next 5 days. I just got word that I report for a jury on Monday morning.

Stupid criminals!!!!! Why can't they leave me alone during calving season.

I am drinking drinking coffee this morning, trying to get my eyes to stay open. So the coffee is fresh and strong today! Join me in a cup if you like.

Dull grey day today, and one band of T storms passed just north of us about 2 am, I saw the lightning when I was up for a short time. More T storms in store for us today. The temp actually went UP during the night as wind changed direction. It seems strange when it does that.

MizT, My Guru said that sometimes when the lines are have too much traffic the sound does not get through. (From when we were on Live Messenger yesterday)

June - I'm glad your friends' properties are safe. Hearing good news like that helps to put these problems in perspective.

I tried that yesterday Mariana, I was the only one who slept! Luckily mine (only a couple of months older) does not get into mischief!

BTW Suzy how IS your degree work coming on? When should you be finished it and are you anywhere near finishing it or even starting it?
