OH MY, I forgot to put on the coffee before I sat here reading. Come have a cuppa and sit a spell.

I also forgot to wake hubby! He had a helper comming today, they are starting some work in the shop. So, the truck in the drive allerted me the helper was here! Hubby had to go out without his breakfast. He should have set his alarm and not depend on me to wake him.

Heidi, has the rain ended for Kentucky? I just took a look at Magnolia on the weather map,looks dry at the mo=ment. I could get on I-65 not far from my house and drive north till I get to the Magnolia exit it appears! Long drive though.

OH Ladies, I have just yesterday discovered, I MUST buy new crocs! I walked out to the office to visit hubby. With all the rain, ground was soaked. I stepped in a spot bare of grass, and slipped in the mud. Nope, I did not fall, but did jar the body right smartly, trying to keep from falling! Spilled half a cup of very good coffee, too.

So, when I got to the office, I was looking at the mud on top of my shoe and decided I best see how much was stuck in the treads of the crocs. WHAT TREAD?? I have worn them completely smoothe! I can tell up under the toes they once had tread, a pattern still there, but no tread at all anywhere else. I think I got the goodie out of these shoes! I have only worn them the major part of everyday since June of 07! They shall be relegated to the house only now, do not need treads on carpet, but must get new crocs for outdoor wear!

MizT, I'm only 15 minutes from I 65, but the exit is for Upton. Magnolia has no exit of it's own. But if anyone is driving down I 65, they're always welcome here.

OH CynB, I would not have to stay awake planning. I would have had a plan in place already, I am so good at plans! I even have a plan in place in case I win the lottery! Know just what to do first, and how much I can spend for what, depneding on how much I won. Isn't that sad??

Heidi, either you are closer to the interstate than I am, or you have better roads! I am about 20 minutes away, well depends if you go North or south. I do not go south as often. We are between and west of 2 exits here, one for Montevallo and one for Jemison, in case you drive this way.

Well, I'm off to do a Meds pick-up at Pain Management, then to a Dental appointment, then to pick up some new Bettas at the Post Office hub, then back here to get the house tidied. My idiot husband told me late last night that he's invited a bunch of people here for a meeting at 6 pm tonight. Some Governor's Ag. council stuff. I live his idea of sufficient warning.

OH Heidi, I would be handing hubby a duster and the vacuum and tell him to get started on the cleaning while I was gone! Nope, not enough notice for sure!

Hello All...Hello to SA5'ers and any lurkers..Lots of chatting since I made my last comment.I was so busy telling about my test experiences, I completely forgot my manners and failed to say hello...hence the two greetings here.
There are so many things to respond to that I may do a cp saying what I want ...so bear with me .....or not....your choice, but warning...you may just miss what I have to say about you.....

Dino: Glad at least you know what you have. Its so much easier to deal with something armed with knowledge rather then the unknown factor. Hope your road to recovery will be smoother and shorter then expected, and the healing will be complete! Thoughts and prayers will follow your progress to full recovery.

Bean....You must stay away from rolling objects when your back is towards them.....It was fun reading, but I know that at the time, you just wanted the floor to swallow you up....Glad you weren't hurt too much...but I'm sure some of those aches and twinges are connected to "the insident"!

Suzy...Well done to you and Ally on the success of the costume. The description of your family injuries had me rolling on the floor.....

Tricia....My left arm has a bruise the size of my palm, but the hand bruise is rather small. Both are tender to touch however...that being said...my bruising couldn't hold up against yours...I feel your pain...far too many pricks and prods to have to contend with...as you said so well...growing old is not for sissies

Viv...Sorry about the bird's flight!!! I do hope it returns.....bet thats the last time your neighbors will ask you to take care of their animals....I know I wouldn't ask any more....Sorry but I can't help but smile thinking about what they might have said to each other when they heard your news....

MizT, you've got it right. I can't shoot him. I now have 1 1/2 hours to unload and put away groceries, unload feed, feed livestock and tidy the house. Can't be done. So I'm not going to stress myself too much over this. Idiot husband, of course, has spent the whole day happily socializing with his relatives who live 8 miles away. Hasn't done a thing here.

Heidi, I know how you feel at times. Although mine will help clean up if we expect visitors.(I just complain about the stuff in our carport that he promised to clean up if I let him go to US and Canada for 6 weeks with a baseball team. That was about 12 years ago.......and I am still waiting.
