I had to go back to see what I'd missed June. I like the streets where I can go up one side and down the other! A good chunk of mine has bushes or vineyards or some such on the 'other' side of the road. People who have done deliveries down here say I've got the 'worst' area. It's actually good if the reason you are doing it is for exercise! Other than the aching shoulders I mean.

June, they just left everything for me to come back to, no one else knows or even wants to learn what I do. I am in major catch up mode and with end of fin year as well will not catch up for weeks yet and with working shorter hours just have to take myself away from all my friends here.

Ahhh, well, would not have helped, stopping by first, I see it has been almost 45 min. Do not have my world clock working. Heck, my internal clock is not working either! was awakened first thing by helper calling early. I am up and aware, but not functioning properly, bummer.

Just read of a 6.1 earthquake up there. Wonder how far it was felt? To early for reports of damage or injuries, MSNBC said. Hope there is minimal damage and all are safe.

Going to the dermatologist today to get a check-up...do have one spot I am wanting close attention to.
Woke up with something weird going on with my left eye - feels like there is something in there, moving around and scratching it...oooow so sore! But can't find anything. Drops not helping.

Aaarrrgh! I feel like I'm falling apart! Plus, have been low energy for awhile now.
If you gals saw how little I do around here, you'd know what a lazy Lima bean I've been this summer. Just haven't had the motivation to get anything done.
I'm thinking the excess heat and smoke this summer may have been part of the problem...but I use to be so productive - last 2 summers I've kicked butt - moved over 20 tons of rock to build my pond and such.

PLUS, I was busy helping Mike with our construction project. Poor guy has been out working in the addition by himself most of the summer - and not complaining at all. Just being supportive of what ever the is going on with me right now.

Hi, no earthshake here. Went looking on the internet to find out the news. The reports say the quakes are too far offshore to be felt onshore and have been occurring since Monday. I am about 223 miles(as the crow flies) from Vancouver so probably wouldn't be affected much. I have experienced an earthquake. Christina Lake is on a fault line. It happened about 9 or 10 years ago. What we felt up at our place was a great big thump. I thought it was the boys being rowdy but it wasn't them. Found out the next day what had happened. Wow, what a surprise.

I understand that, Vici. I, too, am much less inspired to get up off my a** and do some projects that NEED to be done.
What I need is my brekky.

Thanks Heidi - am really frustrated with my lack of production this summer. Old messages in my head about always being busy. I've been letting go of a lot of outside activities over the past couple of years, trying to be kind to myself and listen to what's going on inside...but, come on! Just seems like I keep going further down that road and it kind of scares me. I was in tears over this earlier this morning with hubby. So glad he is understanding at this point. Hope I'm not scaring him too much.

Boohoo for me...no one around to help me off my pity pot! Off I go for my doc appointment.
Giving myself the day off (yet another!) after that except for fixing dinner and feeding birds. Will check in later. Wishing everyone wonderful days despite my malaise

Good luck at the Doc's, Vici. Sorry I wasn't here for moral support. I had a guy here talking about waterproofing the basement and sealing all the cracks in the foundation. It's gonna be a huge job, involving jack hammers in the house! Don't know when they're gonna start- best guess is mid October.

oH Heidi, Jackhammers in the house does not sound like a good thing! Oh the noise and the dust. Hope all goes well with that, since it seems to be nescessary. Water in the house is not a good thing.
