Would love to stay and talk but cannot, Ethan just in bed here, he worked tonight.
I did indeed have coffee and crosswords with John today and what an awful, wet and windy day.
I also did lots of driving about etc.
Hope to be on tomorrow sometime.
Nite all.

Sorry girls, was off doing the jigsaws!
Vici, the hair colour turned out fantastic!
We are all now naturally mousy (mine leans heavily to grey) but D#2 had stopped bleaching hers a few months ago thankfully. She was doing it herself and it had done a lot of damage to her hair but there was no telling her! Anyhoo, to make a short story long, she started darkening it and then both the older girls decided to have hair extensions (!) but had to go dark brown to match the hair. The dye took VERY well and she ended up almost black! I took the extensions out a couple of nights ago and she wanted to have foils to lighten her hair. When I got there the decision was to do 'tips' through one of those torture caps with holes in it. It turned out great. Lightened it no end, and she will go back regularly to have it lightened further over time.

Gail - I absolutely HATE sitting in that salon chair. Am not one of those gals that like to doll themselves up much. Have experienced the torture cap (hehehe)...so glad her hair turned out cute. Gradually - sounds like the way to do it!

Checking in without reading to say Maen Sudoluland.
Having my coffee and getting paper work ready to take to my pre op testing. they want things like list of allergies and list of medications, and both have changed since I did this a few weeks ago before the colonoscopy, so I had to type that out and then send to hubby in his office, cause my printer died! Well, Lex mark killed it, cause I tried using a generic brand ink cartridge. I have plenty of ink, but they do not "recognize" it as thier cartridge and shut off the machine. How rude of them!
Now I must either hunt up the key and go print it myself, or wait on hubby to get up and about and HOPE it is before I must leave. Husbands, who would have them??

Good morning, y'all! It's a cloudy, cool day here, too, Rena, thanks to Hanna which is supposed to get to us tonight. At least you can plan for a hurricane to some extent. All SC high school football games were last night instead of tonight. You have to get the important things in first, you know.

Gail and Bean, surely Dino is not sitting in a hospital bed twiddling her thumbs until a test on Monday. (They would do that here to run up the bill.) Is there some way to check on her?

We're done working the herd (at least most of them), and I did NOT kill my idiot husband. I had gotten all the cattle rounded up, and was trying to get them through the first gate. Idiot husband decided that it was a good idea to place a bucket of feed just inside the gate. The cows in front stopped to eat, blocking the gate, so the ones in back took off running in every direction but the right one. It took another half hour, but I finally got all but one caught. In that group was a cow with a newborn calf. I needed to get them up because the calf has contracted tendons in the front legs, and my Vet needed to see it. I was bringing up the rear of the herd, so while I was out of sight, idiot husband let the cow/ calf pair go.
I don't even know if it's male or female.

Gail, concerning my putting a photo of myself on my page..........
I am a fair and just woman in word and deed. I have certainly thought about putting a photograph of my self on my page to reciprocate for what I have asked you to do with the video. Unfortunately there are very few photographs of me in existence except for school pictures. However, I have a plan that will satisfy you and all the requirements of fairness. Just bear with me a little while.

I really have to stop drinking in the mornings.... With all the talk yesterday about star signs and suitability, I thought I'd check out whether hubby and I should be together - I know, 20 years too late, but....
The meeting of two such optimistic minds should lead straight to bliss. Together, they enjoy elaborating their plans, consolidating their social prominence, and embarking on adventurous journeys. Librans lean towards marriage, but Sagittarius holds back, fearful of losing his or her independence. However, if he or she can be convinced that marriage will not crimp his or her freedom, the knot will soon be tied. The couple, surrounded by a sea of friends, will carry out shared dreams and ambitions, endowed with just enough common sense and rationality to accomplish them.
Looks like we did okay!

It is finally over. The sentences have been given and she will spend 24 to 32 years in jail. (When did we change to that spelling BTW??) The family living in the house now will no longer have looky loos driving them mad(had to call the police on one couple who actually followed them places!). It has been 2.5 years - while trolling the archives I found some posts I made while we were still unsure exactly what had happened! Over and done. Thank goodness.

Hi All SA5'er's ...Good luck on the 7th Miz T.
Ruby...Looking forward to putting face and name together.
Julie, glad to see you posting.
June, Have a great sleep and relax a bit if possible.
Gail...Glad to see that you were here....
Suzy...Glad you and hubby are doing so well..didn't need the stars to tell that tho....
However, I have no clue about who or why someone has been sent to jail....please fill usin...I guess I need to do more walking too.
Bird watching here and waiting for Hanna to bring lots of rain here tomorrow....we were to have a church festival but the rain will put a crimp in the fun, but we need rain...but not the likely flooding we'll get...
Off to do some dog walking....Just received a call from my county emergency weather center warning of expected 6 to 8 inches of rain tomorrow resulting in creek overflow...thus much flooding in the area...looks like I'll be house bound...glad I'm prepared!

Tried to post earlier on here and couldn't get on - just got timed out. Was happy to come back and find some posts.
I, too, am confused about a jail sentence and lookie loos - guess it was before my time here.
I'm curious as to what Ruby is putting together for us...a portrait? Will be entertaining whatever she does...that's for sure!

Hi Mamacita and Vici
The jail sentence was for the 'bodies in the barrells' murders that happened 3 doors down from me. I have chatted about it on and off over the last couple of years. Scary stuff.

The rain here is nothing compared to that caused by your 3 unwelcome visitors - Gustav, Hannah and Ike. I guess it's just now that I have to walk with those belly busters (I've decided to call them that rather than tree killers - more motivating) I dread rainy days!

Mamacita, if I was house bound today I'd be in trouble! I haven't done the shopping yet this week!
Tomorrow is Father's Day here. If it keeps raining Ebob won't have baseball so we will get to spend the whole day together. If it stops, maybe all of us will go up together. That depends on my getting the belly busters out today though.
