Yes, Gail, it was a really positive thing to happen.
Enjoy your walk - my hubby melts in the rain too, It's the same line of thinking that keeps them off public transport ('Why would I get a bus/train if I can drive there?' - Saving the planet, dear boy, saving the planet!!)

Helloooo, SA5! Yes, I should be asleep in bed, but wanted to peak in and see all of you! Eaa, Happy Birthday to your grandson! Heidi, I'm glad you were able to corral the horses! Good luck with the cattle for the vet in the morning! June, I hope Laura is improving - and her Mom, as well! Wishing her a speedy recovery! CynB, how nice that your Mum was able to have a nice conversation with your cousin! Rena, congrats on your TOPP, and good thinking on Amber's part to entice Nuka into the car! Keep at it, all you walkers! Hopefully, once the sciatica improves I can at least do some pool walking and gradually get back on the sidewalk/street.
It's pumpkin time here, and I really must get to bed. Good Night, All!

Ruby, not sure how long Dino is in. The original plan was in on Tuesday, out on Friday. As she didn't end up going in till Wednesday, don't know if the other end of the plan got changed too.

Well, enough of me, I'm off to easy!

Too scared to mention, hubby and I went out to you-know-what today! Went to Healesville, a beautiful town about half hour away.
'Salright Mums, I had a salad...and I WILL eat again! (Usually eat so much I say I'll never eat again!)

Oh eaa, I feel your pain. Those tags are designed to drive you insane I reckon! That nylon thread is the most poky thing ever invented.
What about a firm sports bra type of getup, you know, like in a t-shirt type of material?

Will tyr and catch up with everything later. Laura has gone home tonight with her Dad and we are off to a BBQ (inside as it is raining) at the bowling club.
Will have Laura back sometime tomorrow but will get to sleep in my own bed.

This is going to sound ridiculous eaa but try wearing a bonds cotton singlet underneath your bra...works for me when my skin is irritated....I'm also sensitive to a lot of synthetics. You just need to hope that you don't have to change in public or folks will be thinking you have lost it - haven't been walking enough...

June I am so glad that you will have a night off food prep and will get to sleep in your own bed!

Didn't hear from Dino so I presume she was kept in hospital.

CynB....isn't it lovely when your mum is having a good day and how fortuitous with the phone call. Are you packed?

I'm home! Coffee was loverly! The girls are doing well at bowling. They and their friends are coming 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th! (I think Ally is 2nd and Ebob is 4th) Ebob's 190 last week pulled her up from about 9th place so she's happy. Nothing so grand this week, but a good solid series.

June, glad you have a night off, and a fun night at that.

Gail, I didn't walk today! I will tomorrow if it isn't raining too badly. (I don't melt in the rain, but the tree killers will).

Well finally back on a 'puter that works at home!
I am going to be busy this weekend so will have to try and catch you all when I can. Not even going to try and tell you all how much I care about what is happening to you all, I am sure you know I am sending good vibes to you.

Hi Broni - they're all watching Wire in the Blood - hmmm, that Robson Green's a bit of alright. Have a nice weekend, even if it will be busy.
BTW - where's our Viv? Has she been around at all today? I hope she hasn't overdone it, flitting off driving and having coffee and cryptics with John.

Popping on without reading cos I saw my twin's name in the box and thought I could nag at her in person for once! Also saw the "wise and wonderful" (ignore the man behind the curtain!) Gail in the box - a rare spot indeed!

Gail - how did the hair come out? I was born blonde and stayed that way until in my mid-20's my hair started to darken. So I highlighted for years. My husband married a blonde (when I was 40) and about 6 years ago I got tired of sitting in the salon chair and told the hair dresser to take me down to my root color. Thought it would be a mousy brownish/grayish whatever - turns out my root color was 3 shades above black! I would have taken it down a lot sooner if I had known. I'm not walking enough because I'm pretty sure I've told this story before here. Pardon the "Oldstimers"
