You did it! Sorry MzT...while you went to get us our coffee, I snuck off to Bean's gallery. It's a must see - her photos of the Flower and Garden Show are to die for!

Our local one at the fairgrounds is pretty "small town" - not like the Melbourne one...

Well, I need to get moving today. I do still have chores to do birthday for him or not. I am almost on track, only one or 2 small leftovers from my list. See you later Vici and I have enjoyed the chat.

So glad I didn't see those pics before I did my puny rock wall yesterday - I would have been too depressed to go out into my yard!

I would have to go to Birmingham to find one! Not a terrible trip, but we just do not get back up there since moving away. Hate the traffic and the hurry and impatience of drivers up there.

Hi Everybody. Slept through the entire morning, again. I've always said that I don't do mornings, if it can be avoided.
I hear you did get around to doing that rock retaining wall, Vici.
It's always a great feeling to accomplish a project.
Nearly 1 pm.... time for my brekky!

June, it's delightful to hear that Sharon has passed the wind and soft foods milestones. When she leaves the hospital, will you bring her home with you or will you be doing days at her house?

With houses so close together in Oz I'm not surprised at the state of your driveway. But they should have left the mailbox alone. That's a federal offense here. You might want to check all down your property line. Alcohol infused vomit can kill some plants. Believe me, I know.
The flower photos on your page are lovely.

Hiya Ruby! I need to get outdoors...the deer are starting to come around again and I need to spray my "liquid fence" (boy that stuff stinks!) to keep them from eating up my yard.
But I did see you posts and wanted to touch base and see how you are doing.

Frequently, the packages themselves have directions and even recipes on them. If not, check the company's website, Plum. We've got the pooters: may as well use 'em.

Thanks, Heidi. I've been looking for recipe information and manufacturer's websites for hours last night and this morning. Owing to its being Sunday, no one's open to call help lines. I'll have to wait until tomorrow if I can't get an answer from someone on one of my message boards.

MizT. is not the only one who went to a cookout yesterday. And Viv is not the only one who has a coffee and/or puzzle affair. I have two of them. Poppy and I have coffee most afternoons and talk horses and dogs. He wants to breed a perlino, so I got him a whole bunch of internet info and explained to him what I remembered about genetics. Yesterday he invited me to his birthday cookout and I went. I have never seen so much food in all my life. There were two whole hogs, Boston butts, chickens, beef ribs, vats of fried fish, and four long tables crammed with vegetables, salads, breads and deserts. They fed over two hundred people and one little fat cracker who waddled home and doesn't want to eat again.

Ruby... there's a 25% chance of getting a perlino by breeding a buckskin to a buckskin. Those are the best odds if one or both parents are not perlino or cremelo.

OK, Ladies, what is perlino and cremelo?
Cake is baked and stuffing to go with previously smoked turkey. for today i still must cut grass, waiting till it cool and the UV numbers are 3 or below, that happens about 5 or 6 now.
Need to empty dishwasher and then load it with cooking mess. think that is all for today. tomorrow is lite, cause I have to do the prep and stay near the littlest room. Widh I knew what time they want me up there. I will find out tomorrow night, bummer.
I copied greetings to Al and mailed to his puter, he got a kick ou tof them, thank you much for the greetings to him.

Ruby, I had no idea what a perlino was so googled. Discovered I also had no idea that the genetics of colour in horses was so well researched! It's just not something I had ever thought of before. I'm glad you mentioned it as I may find a way to use it in a science lesson one day!

Hey MizT!
So glad Al is enjoying his Bday.
I found the page that lists the UV numbers here. Most often 10 til 3 off limits, and that's winter!!
Hope the prep isn't too unpleasant......

Yes Heidi, good question. I have been wondering the same thing.
Fine day here. Finally had a bit of a sleep in.
Just having brekky now but first made some calls to UnderCoverwear.
Shortly will go out to get the paper and to Spotlight. I must knit a scarf in the Geelong colours seeing as the mighty CATS won another game yesterday. I am awaiting my CATS avatar.
But these will do for now. lol eehehhhe
