Just catching up with some of your gos. Any word about Angelique?. Or Dino?
Sharon finally had all the drains and tubes removed today, eating light food and hopefully will be 'home' tomorrow afternoon. Have been persuading Laura she will have to give up the queen sized bet for a single!
Laura has gone home with her Dad who will drop her at child care tomorrow. He will do all the washing etc for Sharon but it will be awhile before she can cope with Laura by herself. I know how I automatically pick her up at times.

June, great news! I hope everything goes well when Sharon gets out of hospital. After what she has been through I'm sure she will be cautious and not do silly things.

NEWSFLASH...
Dino sends everybody her love...had a lovely long chat and I've filled her in on all the latest happenings... as much as I could manage....must take up or do more walking.....
[that should confuse anybody that doesn't walk enough and consequently can't remember Suzi's post on the matter
]
The only thing Dino is lacking in hospital is an internet connection and so that is good. You will all know when she is home ...don't think it will take her long to log on...

Maen Sudoluland!
I am having my morning coffee, won't you join me? Best enjoy my coffee, with milk in it, last "real food" I get. Clear liquids, no dairy today and a cleansing of the bowel, once again, not fun.
Last few chores to keep me busy today and not have time to think about tomorrow too much.
Weather cooperated, and got the grass cut, but it really needs raking in the back yard, my how it grew. Front lawn is more manageable, and civilized, it grows OUT, sideways, spreading and not as much UP, tall.
My huge patch of groundcover woods violets returned, after hubby attacked them with the whipper sniper/weed eater. Tall grass was hiding in them,and he does not understand the concept, cut the grass HIGH over the low lying violets. Oh well, they will have all fall to re-establish themselves before winter, and they are thicker and luch now. Just the leaves, they bloom early spring, and anything not blooming he mowes right down. OH, he has learned the lemon balm, cause when he starts mowing that around the back deck, the lovely scent of lemon arrises and reminds him, leave me alone.
He could cut tons of that and i would still have lemon balm, it has naturalized there over several years. When we moved here about 10 years ago, I had lemon balm in containers on the back deck. Seeds fell on ground it liked and started growing a round the deck. Once I told him this plant repells the mosquitoes, and he could tell when he was cutting it, he tries to leave a nice bit of that.
OK, time to go back and read, and a good night to the aussies, sleep well.

Tricia - I'm going to check into this Lemon Balm to see if it will grow here...what a great idea to have it just off the deck to keep the skeeters away!

VICI, it should grow, it is in the mint family and they have a pretty wide range they tolerate I think.

Wish you were near, I would find you some " volunteers" come spring and give you a good start of the lemon balm. Huumm, once mailed starts of many kinds of mints cross country in spring, shall I plan on that? Bare root little seedlings, in a "diaper" filled with water absorbing granules. I must order more of those fore spring, my last seems to have dissapeared. Last I saw it was spring, when I was adding to soil in my containers.
