to you to Sudokuland, along with a Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie for you and your guests.

There’s lots to do around here, places to visit and chat. I've been having a Christmas Party all moth with new videos daily. This week I have added something for New Years - the story of how a flat is built. Being from SC (I'm a Bruin Fan), you probably know all about how a float is built for the big day. In case you don't check out the Flicker Presentation.

I saw your post on 'easy' today and came by to say hi and , Geo! From Jim's and ceecee's comments, I gather you have been "lurking" for awhile? How nice that you've joined us I've brought a pot of Maryland Cream of Crab Soup for you and your guests. I live very near the Chesapeake Bay, home of the Maryland blue crab. Bon Appétit!

Hi Geo - is that you, Georgia from So. Calif.?? I kept wondering about that, but as soon as I got to your page & saw the turtle picture I knew I had the right person in mind!! I see that Jim from Jupiter & ceecee figured it out quicker than I did. Hope you are well & that you have a very

P.S. Just took some time to look at your photo gallery which is a wonderful glimpse into your life & personality. Some of the photos become giant when you click on them, but I still searched for your comments on them. They are so telling - you miss your dear Mom, love your family & your pets very much, & have a great sense of humor! Wish I could meet you in person.

Think we were typing comments back & forth at the same time!! Glad you mentioned looking for my Flickr photos as I did not realize that if there is not one posted on my page, there is no way to connect to the rest of them! I have now added a Christmas pic of Ebony so underneath that you can now click on Find this picture on Flickr & that will take you into my Flickr site. If you go to the Family set to the right & look on page 2, you will find a picture of Ebony sprawled over a little dog bed that used to belong to our yorkie mix. Ebony fit into it as a puppy, but not anymore!! That photo is very similar to the one of your dalmation in the small bed! Guess dogs must not have a sense of how big or small they are. I've also seen some little dogs who think they are BIG!

GEO, thanks for visiting my page. I am about 8 years older than you, but I retired from nursing some years ago. my hubby and I have 3 daughters ages 43, 33, and 28. They are scattered to the 3 corners of the USA and I see them rarely.

If you look at a map of Alabama, and draw a line diagonally across from the corners, I am within rock throwing distance of where they cross. We are in a very rural area, but very near several small towns. We moved here from the suburbs about 12 years ago and it was a good choice for us.

I can understand about getting too caught up in this, I tend to on occasion. ESPICALLY when the site is down. or the "last to post" contest, now that was a blast! if ever you get bored, check that out in the archives.

Good to meet you, and hope to see you again on the site. Drop in and say HI any time.

Geo, reading is one of my favorite things also. love to read and always had a book beside my chair, till a recent wrist injury. but still I found a way to read, just not as comfy so now takes a bit longer to finish a book. What are you reading now?

Hello Geo (Georgia), and a belated welcome to the site! My apologies for not stopping in sooner. I'll leave you my traditional page warming gift, a double chocolate fudge beavertail pastry from Ottawa. I enjoyed your photos and the cartoons. You have a lovely family. Cheers!

Hi, GEO! I guess I missed you when you first joined, so a belated WELCOME to your page! I've been reading about your tortoises and their "ponds". Please share more about them. How did you get them? How long have you had them? They seem like unlikely pets, but then we have neighbors with peacocks. Welcome to Sudoku!

Hi, GEO! I'm look forward to the story of your tortoises - when you get a chance! In the meantime, I hope you'll enjoy these virtual Frango Mints for Chicago's Macy's. (They were originally made by Chicago's Marshall Field's store, but Macy's bought it.)

Thanks for your acknowledgement in chat today. You haven't missed 'many my words' because I have been hibernating like a slow sleepy turtle recovering from a storm on the brain. As this is my first visit to your page; including your wonderful collection of cartoons; I have brought a years supply of luscious turtle feed as a special treat for your pets.
