Hi Kate. And There are lots of us (Kates that is!!) about the site from round the world & now there are three from Si/ydney!! Which leg & what bit did you break? I broke my left ankle in November 2005, then my right one in September 2006 (it was after this that I started doing jigsaws). Both of them were plated & screwed back together!

Missed the post where you said about the dislocated ankle as well as broken leg! With the rt fracture I dislocated the ankle as well as breaking the ankle end of the fibula in several places! I wouldn't wish any of it on my worst enemy! I googled Sidney on google maps earlier so I have a visual idea where you are in the US. Are you N,S,E or West of Sidney?! I live on the north side of the Harbour Bridge about a half hour train ride to Sydney's CBD

Your page is starting to fill up nicely! Soon you will find out that visiting pages can end up taking more time than doing the puzzles! It's funny that you live near I-75 at the northern end & I live very near I-75 on the southern end! Valrico is about 20 miles east of Tampa on the Gulf side of the state of Florida. Unfortunately, I am an hour's drive away from the beautiful Gulf coast beaches. I was born & grew up in Cleveland, went away to college in Michigan, became a Navy wife, & then ended up later on living in Oxford, Ohio while my husband attended Miami Univ. Our second daughter was born in Cincinnati, so we do have many connections in Ohio. Have you lived there all your life?

Thanks, Kate. The hopping around & waiting to get permission to walk again was dreadful. The physio after to re learn how to walk is also difficult but at least you feel that something is happening & there is going to be an end!

Hi Kate, fellow Buckeye! Where is Sidney, anyway? I've lived here for 20 years (whoa, hard to believe) but grew up on east coast so I don't know the geography of Ohio that well. Anyway I won't leave you my traditional welcome gift of a box of buckeyes, I'll leave some irises from my garden and a couple of cold Moosehead beers. Cheers!

Happy Birthday Kate! Hope you had a good day up there in Ohio! Are there signs of spring yet? One of the things I miss most from my growing up years in Cleveland are the gorgeous yellow forsythia bushes and the robins! We don't have either here in FL. Best wished to you today & all year through.
