Welcome, and just curious. You wouldn't happen to be one who sees cats would you? If not, my apologies. I hope you enjoy the site, and I'll leave my traditional page warming gift of a double chocolate fudge beavertail pastry from Ottawa. Enjoy, and cheers!

Hi, Kathy!
I live in Cayce (suburb of Columbia); but I grew up in Beaufort. You have to go through there to get to Fripp.
When I was in HS, Hunting Island was our beach. Fripp was just starting to be developed then.

Hi Lnoewoof. I would never have seen your response to me if I hadn't come back to your page. You can respond to people who post on your page directly by clicking on the 'Check out my page' link after their name. Don't take the political discussions too seriously on this site. People all have their own opinions, and many feel strongly about the war for oil, both for and against.

Yes, that's the mock-up of the actual monument. We saw it two years ago, just after visiting Mt. Rushmore. The Crazy Horse Monument will really be spectacular; I only regret I probably won't live long enough to see it completed. ( I don't know what the expected completion time IS, but it is DEFINITELY a long-range project!)
(I have a piece of rock that was blasted off of the construction site, as a souvenir).

Don't be too upset over the time diff between USA & Aus. It just means that you can get to be a 'first pager' without having to stay up until midnight!

About the implement used to make cheese sandwiches. Try a brick wrapped in foil or do like I do and use the waffle iron. My kids like the grid it makes on them.

Jane : Good luck with your transplanted gardenia. Be sure to prune it back rather severely, as they tend to "resent" being moved. I had one that I planted too close to the house; it was about 5' tall and nearly that across. I dug it up and moved it, and cut it back to about 3'. It took a year to get re-established, now it looks great!
As for jasmine, I have some Confederate jasmine that my mom brought me, from Beaufort, SC (almost as tropical as where you are!) It grows very well here, and smells DELICIOUS!

Hello lonewolf, thanks for you answer, I was amazed more didn't jump to the challenge. I have two weeks to give an answer to my friends who is a maths lecturer. He is teasing me I feel but I'm up for the challenge. I've dug my winter coat out but I think I am going to have to build my own space station for this one. cheers now x

Hello Bill, thinking of you. I hope all goes well at the doctors and that your injuries will be healed as soon as possible. Take care of yourself.

Hi lonewoof, I just read about your accident! I know how you are feeling as I had a car accident 7 months ago. Just keep reminding yourself that things do heal, mine did! The old adage about getting back on the horse is true, get back on your bike as soon as possible. The 'physical' is up to the doctors, the 'mental' is up to you! I know you probably don't want to hear this right now but start planning your next ride NOW!

Hello Lonewolf - I just read your comment about getting the picture up without doing the puzzle.
Just click on 'show solution' (I think that's what it's called) click on a Number 1 and re-enter it and the photo should come up.
Good luck!
Cheers.
