Hi Sandy, Thank you for the kind words about my pictures. I do love taking pictures, almost every subject has an interest for me.
There are so many flowers in the yard where do I start. First are tulips about 20 different ones, next are daffodils about the same amount my favorites are the ones I have that were my Moms. Over 50 different iris, 30 different ornamental lilys, 300 different day lilys, 10 different calla lilys, 10 different canna lilys, less than 10 different dahlias, 9 different columbine, 6 different color rose of sharon bushes, hydrangias, russina sage, 5 types of lavender [spanish is my favorite], Oh I forgot the hyacinths in the spring. There might be more that I have forgot. The one thing I do not have is hibiscus, I have seen some winter hardy ones for sale here so will got some next year for the yard.
All the years I lived in Florida I have never seen a hibiscus as large as the one on your page, anything special to getting it to grow that large?

No cruise we spent 4 months in Alaska traveling in a motorhome. We took the ferry from Skagway down to Sitka. It happened to be one of the days the New Archangel Dancers were performing, they were awesome. There wasn't any place in Alaska I did not like.
I would like to do a cruise to Alaska, but would have to rent a motor to revisit some of my favorite places.

Hello Sandy - I just thought I'd mention that the Denmark in my photo on "hard" today is a seaside town in Denmark, Western Australia, fifty kilometers west of Albany on the south coast and about 450kms south/east of Perth (our capital city), not the Denmark in Scandinavia.

Sandy, I have my bromelial's in an east window, they love it there. They need lots of sun and not so much water. I water them in the foliage where some will catch in the leaves. Try this and see if it helps. Of course where you live they might do very well outside, I don't know.
