Hi Lizzy, much as I would love to meet up with you and Chris I'm sorry to say I won't be able to make it. Not only does my GG daughter has a birthday but my hubby will be turning 70 next month. Never mind there is always next year.

Hi Lizzy. Thanks for your comment on the Michigan pic. It's always nice to see the faces that go with the names, & it's even better to see them in person! Where is Gosford? Is it possible that you will be able to come to one of the meetups that will take place when Jane & I come to Oz in 2014? I hope so. Would love to meet you in person. Meanwhile, I'll keep an eye out for your comments on Easy.

Lizzy, did you check out the other pics in my Gallery, too. There are some other sudokuists included in them - Jane, shosho, Hal, Keith, & maybe others?? I also have lots of others in my Flickr photos if you click on the big one of our grandchildren. In Flickr you can select from many different Albums. In the one titled San Francisco there are LOTS of photos of the Sudoku people who made the trip out there back in 2008.

My goodness, Lizzy. I only now realized that I have never visited your page. I see that you have been here for almost 2 years and I've never given you a proper welcome. So...

And any other occasions that I've missed.

This is copy & paste message about the Sudoku Easy Jigsaw Problems:
They went wild after one of Gath's changes. If you go back in the beginning (15th May 2005) & check the photos in the archives you'll find that the only jigsaw is the torso in the black jumper with the white coffee cup, you'll find that photo as the jigsaw on every Easy Sudoku page up till the 12th of January this year. I did comment on this earlier this year, but I'm usually commenting when no one's around!!!
I'd say the photos we're getting are the ones from the Easy pages that don't have a home any more! And the off sized ones are possibly the very early reward photos for finishing the Sudoku!
So I think we just have to accept that the Easy Sudoku jigsaw is going to too big or very small, more frequently than being a good size!!

Hi Lizzy, just saw your post on the easy page - thanks! I'll definitely only be having the one slice of cake, but not the traditional birthday cake, a blueberry cheesecake. I'll be heading out for a run and a gym session shortly to try to work off some of the extra calories from the big breakfast I had!
