Okay I admit it I'm a slacker. I've been around for about a year but disappeared for a while. I was surprised to come back and see all the changes. I am trying really hard to visit at least twice a week. I might even get and avatar added some day. I downloaded the ACDSee software so that’s at least a step in the right direction.

I saw Elijah's picture - was it yesterday? What a handsome boy!
You asked about Frango Mints. They are mint candies about 1 inch square covered in chocolate. They now come in a variety of flavors. They were once made in Chicago for the Marshall Field department store chain. The company was sold and started making them outside of Illinois. Now Marshall Field has been sold to Macy's. I have heard a rumor that they are going to start making the Frango Mints in Illinois again. Frango Mints are very much connected to Illinois, so I chose them as representative of the area. If I lived in Vermont, I would probably have thought of something from the Vermont Country Store or Ben & Jerry's ice cream or Vermont Teddy Bears. Where in Vermont do you live? (I spent a couple of summers in Ludlow/Weathersfield area with our daughters.)

Hi Serena - Thank you so much for the wonderful bottle of Maple Syrup. How did you know that is one of my favorites? My husband and son went to the BMW Motorcycle Rally in Vermont last year and my husband brought me home a bottle of Maple Syrup. It was delicious. (Nothing like the real thing!) I lived next to a farm growing up and was pecked many times trying to slide my hand under a hen Finally learned to wait 'til the hen was off the nest Much easier!
