We wer doing the drive west out of esperence as far as I can remember. I always forget to make a note of the names of the bays. By the date on pictures it was november 2nd and we drove the Twilight Beach Road I think it could be Salmon Beach They are not so much islands as rocky outcrops.

Hey there, Albany Anne! Thanks for dropping by. I'm not sure how to get baby pictures on my page, but I'll try. Do I need to scan them? I can use the scanner at work, probably. Then send them to myself at home and upload.
Thanks again for coming by and getting on my second page! Woo hoo! You are very popular, Ms.10 pages of comments. Wow!

Anne, thank you for your Easter message. I couldn't get the first site either. Dunno what went wrong but I suspect it is their fault because I simply copied and pasted the URL from their site. Never mind, I'm sure you will enjoy the second one more. After you have looked at the information on halos, have a peek at the nacreous clouds under the 'High Altitude' tab.
Anne has asked me to tell you how much she admired your halo photo. We both think it was a wonderful photo of a rare phenomenon. Congratulations.

Anne, thank you for your message. Imogen goes in Sept. She's just done a Scuba diving course and is now a qualified Open Water diver to 18m (like a P plate I think). The highlights were seeing a cuttlefish with eyes on long stalks which was fascinated by the instructor's ring and came up and kept touching it. Also they saw seahorses and fed the fish (one of which bit her on the finger)She wishes she'd had a camera then. She said it was absolutely marvellous - have you ever dived? I expect there would be excellent places off the WA coast. She investigated travel agencies and found to her disgust that a lot of them make you pay a 'singles supplement' if you are travelling alone. The penalty of being independent? (A while back, if you travelled alone and cheaply, you'd know you had to share and hoped to God that the person wasn't a stark raving lunatic or, more importantly, didn't snore.) She hasn't bought a camera yet and says there's no hurry.
What a lovely photo - was that a time exposure?
Hope you are having a very enjoyable Easter and lots of choccy and other good things, and thanks for taking an interest. All the best, Gillian.

Anne, We did not hike the whole Inca Trail, just the section UP to Intipunku (Gate of the Sun). Rob had been very sick the night before so we took it VERY slow, but we did make it to the top. It was the reverse path that you & your group would have taken arriving on your final day into the Machu Picchu ruins. The group we passed on their way DOWN looked very tired & anxious to reach the end of their long journey.

Hello Meg

My daughter actually took this with my camera on Johnathan's first birthday two years ago at an Alpaca farm in Denmark, 50kms west of Albany. There were also other animals, as you can see, that they could walk among.
I hope you and your family have a lovely Easter.
