As much as I remember our ANZAC Hero's, I hold my head down with shame as I had forgotten the importance of Albany. Thank you for your reminder.

hi anne,
pardon my manners for not dropping this thank you note sooner! the chardonnay was beautiful - one of your favourites? i love your sunrise - i'm used to the sun rising over the sea, when we visit the coast, and it is one of the most peaceful times of the day. your maggie avatar is beautiful. we live on 10 acres and have a family of magpies of our own, but one of them must have something wrong with him/her, because it can't quite warble like the others - makes me smile all the time!
please come back again when i get over the hangover from the housewarming and do something about the decor! have a lovely day.

Hi Anne, thanks for checking out my flickr pix. i appreciate your comment and was trying to correct it, but have not found the right path yet. both hubby and i thought this was the bridge that had the london bridge name on it as we sailed under. it's been a couple of years ago, so we easily could be wrong. and evidently are!lol

Hi Anne from Albany. Just thought I would drop in. I have left some yellow roses from my garden for you. I found your recipe for PIROSHKI and though I have never heard of them they certainly sound yummy. I will have to try them. Thanks.

Thanks for the bottle of drink. Care to join me? Ocean Grove is a suburb in Victoria. About 20 minutes outside Geelong (if you know where that is). Ocean Grove is virtually joined at the hip to Barwon Heads (which is where the tv show Sea Change was filmed). I actually started posting as Wendy from Geelong as I didn't think anyone would know Ocean Grove.

Finally, here I am for a visit. Lovely view you have. I'm bringing you some Niagara region ice wine and some real Canadian maple syrup. Just loved my visit to Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Palm Cove) a few years' back and am eager to return. The friendliest people are in Australia (and Ireland).

Hi Anne - I am just stopping by to say, 'Hi.' How has your Fall been down there. Do you get snow where you are? I have left a bouquet of flowers on your table for you. They have red, orange and yellow colors for Fall.

Hi Anne - Me again..... Thanks for your visit. Your climate sounds Heavenly! Our summers have been hot for about the last 10-15 years. We have a lot of weather where it is about 35 (C.) We have more humidity than we use to have also. Then our winters are pretty cold. Approximately -17 (c). (We use Farenheit here so those are approximate.) My husband has a cousin in Australia, but I don't know exactly where. The leaves are coming out on the trees. It is so nice to have the green back! I dread the heat in the summer, but I love Fall and Spring. 22 (c) is a perfect temperature for me. Thanks for all in info. I enjoyed hearing about it.

Hope the cookies were nice. I love the macadamias in them and the white, dark and milk chocolate bits.
The koala photo was taken while on a drive along the Great Ocean Road. We are a fair way from there.
