Hello, everyone! Thanks for visiting! We ended up with over 9'' of snow CP, and it has been cold since, so it hasn't melted. I have been away. I drove my friend (the Princess' Mom) to have minor surgery yesterday (11/29), and was up at 5:30. Ran all day. I tried to get onsite last night, but was too tired to even read the comments. We went out to breakfast this morning, then to Toys-R-Us. Holiday shopping has started...it was INSANE! Came home and napped this afternoon.

I remember the winter of '82 quite well! The trash trucks left deep, icy ruts in the road and I had a car with no extra room under it to get through some streets without bottoming out quite frequently. I could not believe the incredible stupidity! I do miss snow this time of year, however. Believe it or not, we actually had a few flakes fall here in Orlando a couple of weeks ago! First time since we moved here in 1993. This past week the temps have gotten up into the 80s again. Air conditioning in December? Who would have thought it possible...

eve 6.15 from India..well brought some native sweets made outa puffed rice and beaten rice with jaggery...you could never find it anywhere else i bet..enjoy(its a high fibre item with lots of iron!!)

Since you have golden's any advice on how to her to quit chewing? She chewed a wooden handle on my antique drysink, we never had that problem with our husky, even when she was a puppy.

As for the chew toys, my house looks like I have toddlers again with all the toys on the floor, but if it saves my furniture I can live with it!

Sarah Beth, hubby thanks you for your offer of hospitality, but has a packed schedule - basically flies in, goes to work, finishes, flies out! He left today, back here on the 22nd.
There is talk he may do more trips to Colorado next year, - I will be doing my darndest to accompany him at least on one trip.
