I had second thoughts when I was hit with the idea am I really old enough to be a grandmother. But they disappeared when I held Brandon in my arms for the very first time. I fell in love with that baby boy! I envy you for that very first moment you hold your grandson, the flooding of emotions will overwhelm you! It's heaven!

Just a message of support for you - how devastated you must have felt to find out others were in the know before you.

I made the mistake of finding out the sex of our first (and only so far) when my husband wanted it to be a secret and despite the fact I successfully hid it from him and everyone else the fact that I knew and he didnt was a huge breach of trust and one we have only in the last year worked though.

Condier this - you'll have the more intimate pleasures of spoiling them; seeing them smile, laugh, reach for you, and share in so many precious moments moving forward - the time you invest now will reap so many rewards. No - I'm not a grandmother - just a first time Mum who is seeing what an impact a caring and interested Grandmother can have - and I am lucky I have two of them!

Hi Sarah Beth, I am in Broomfield. I have visited every winter since my son moved to CO (5 years I think) I come in the winter because I want to see the snow but this past January was the first time you had snow for my visit. This is the first time I have come in the summer, it is so lovely.
