Congratulations to ALL the family on the arrival of Bergen Michael! How did the labor & delivery go for Ashley? He sure was a big baby. Will you get competition from Ashley's mom for babysitting rights? What are the logistics for everybody? Were you there for the birth? Have you held him yet? Hi Sarah Beth, thank you for answering my question. So 300mls is about 480 kilometers which is +/- the distance from Sydney to Dubbo (Nth/West of Sydney) where my parents live, & Wagga Wagga (Sth/West) where my husband's family live. So that tells me a lot which is wonderful. Thanks again.

Gday Sarah Beth, I flicked through and cannot believe I did not leave a calling card because I know I've dropped in before to look at the photos of Bergen. Unfortunately, I had trouble seeing them full-size so was only able to look at the thunbnail shots but he looks beautiful. How is he doing now? Also how are the new parents going?

Like Gail, I couldn't see the pictures (only red x's in blank squares) when I clicked on them to enlarge. Maybe you could try uploading them to Flickr instead. So do you love being a grandma? Come chat to me on my page sometime. I'd love to hear more about Bergen. I LOVE babies, even ones I'm not related to!

Those quilts are amazing, aren't they. Mind you - they are all by professionals. The little tree one that i love is by a lady who teaches hand quilting, using a special thimble and technique. I have a few more photos to upload, including a couple by 'ordinary' quilters.

Sarah Beth - I just have to share this with you. My husband is upstairs sucking water out of our bedroom carpet. It seems that a certain golden little girl got on our waterbed, managed to get the cap off it, then with her weight on the bed it started to empty. Unfortunately we didn't find it until the carpet was soaked and the water was dripping through the vent into the garage! Sure you don't want another?

Hi Sarah Beth! Hope you have a very & maybe a yummy too! What's your pleasure - yellow or chocolate? I was away for a week with my daughter & three grandsons in NC. Her husband had to go home to NY for the funeral of his 47 year sister who died suddenly of a heart attack at the age of 47 - very sad. She was a single Mom & left four daughters, the youngest of whom is only 12! So celebrate life & enjoy EVERY day, not only your birthday!! Hope you & all your family are well, especially sweet baby Bergen.

Sarah Beth, I hear what you're saying about sons! My son works with his father, so I have to get reports from hubby as to how my son is. I have asked him to ring home once a week, but you know boys!
