Didn't look at the numbers, but that's a terrific TOPP anyway.

MizT - got my fingers crossed for Al
Heidi - is the ear infection improving or cleared yet?
Theresa - glad you got dinner made by your D. Nothing like a meal made by someone else, is there?
I hate the top of a new page, I forget everything I've read on the previous page.

Not sure that I said this earlier but thank for all the lovely anniversary wishes for Col and I on Saturday. We had a nice dinner and a glass or 2 of wine to celebrate.

Had a lovely evening last night - Andrew came over with all 3 of his girls for dinner. I had not started to cook so I had 3 little helpers and it was great - we made lasagne and I wanted something warm for dessert so, after some discussion, we made Chocolate self-saucing pudding - something I haven't made in years and they had never tried. A great success. No leftovers. I think it tasted all the better for the fun and assistance in preparing it.

Rolanda - not happy about the eliminations last night on either show - what about you? Rachel was from WA, so you won't be happy about that.

Hi Cyn - yes, meals are always nice when they are made by someone else. Glad your anniversary dinner went well. It's always nice too when you have a "little" help in the kitchen.

It's after 10:00 PM so I am soon off to bed. Catch you all tomorrow.

Hi All,
Just weighing in to add my voice to God's ear that Al's doctor's visit will bring nothing but good news and foods will once again become desirable. MzT's doctor's visit will come with some better pain management, and that Heidi.s doctor visit will result in a good report on the decreasing infection of the ear, Theresa.s doctor will be able to get a grip on what's wrong and a way to ease her pain...After I ask the Good Lord to take care of all of the above, I will make sure that He knows how much we thank him for the healing we have seen here and the Grace he has allowed us to witness as we watch the bonding between June and friend take such bittersweet joy in each other while they can, as they walk the long valley.
Through our sharing, we have witnessed shades drawn in darkness and doors opened to allow the sun to flow through...We are all better for our experiences because we would not be able to come here and console, comfort, smile and outright giggle together without the shared loving we each have given and received...We are blessed many times over! May Peace be felt deeply as we find the joy in life that all of the challenges cannot dim! Hugs to all....and as MzT says...extra always available.

The ear is still uncomfy, and draining a LOT of fluid still, but it's bearable. I still have another 24 hours of antibiotics.

Hi, Everyone! Just popping in for a bit of reading and a comment or two. I apologize that it won't be more than a couple of comments - just too late and too tired to do more.

June, thinking of you, your friend and family! What a blessing that you and friend both had some time to spend together talking, crying and sorting. I can't imagine how difficult that is for both of you, but certainly worth the effort and special time for both of you!

MizT, will be sending positive thought when Al has his PET scan!

Positive thoughts, , prayers and {{{{{HUGS}}}}} for everyone! I think of each of you each day, but don't always find the time to post comments. Take care and all of the best for everyone! Good Night!

Hi! My friends.
Tami, do you love how those young'uns(sp)learn at different stages? Learning is great for me.
Mama, love that you are back here with your words or wisdom, really missed you.
June, so glad you can do something right for a change. Hard times.
MizT, at least he can taste the difference and hope it improves.
OK full day at work learning their systems but have it under control.
Love you all and Hugs of course.

Tami, hope the motivated student does really well. A chapter in a day sounds pretty incredible!

Theresa, glad you got to see some sun while it was around. Nothing like sun to lift your spirits. That and dinner cooked by someone else!!

MizT, not only are my fingers crossed, but my toes and knees!

Heidi, since my fingers, toes and knees are crossed for Al and MizT, I guess you're stuck with my eyes... Boy are the kids going to laugh at me tomorrow!!

Cyn, glad you had a noice night out. Your night cooking with the girls sounds wonderful too!!! A good time for you at the moment..

Julie, it is wonderful to see you when you drop in. I'm sorry you are so busy that you are tired all the time! I hope things slow down to a more reasonable level in the future...

With some help from motivation of the lolly variety I actually got 9-5 to do some work today! Joy of joys!!

Year 7 were rowdy in the library, but I was only on the sidelines of that group so it was not too bad. Some University students come in once a week to work with them, and it happens to be first period Tuesday. That's an amazing program. The Uni students are studying all kinds of things, and the program is aimed at exposing low socio-economic or regionally disadvantaged students to the possibilities of higher education.

Year 12 were loud, but it was just senior science so not the brains of the year. I discovered one of them wants to be either a science or an english teacher. I was very good and didn't say that senior science was not a good starting point for a career as a science teacher! My education doesn't prepare me for a lot of it - lots of out of school study needed - and I did full science subjects!

Tomorrow I have 9-5 again, joy of joys, year 12 senior science again and year 10 who I haven't had before. Knowing the person who schedules casuals, I will be picking up at least one, probably 2 classes from another teacher to fill in the blank spaces!

Suzy, have fun at work today. Glad you are getting called in. The goal for the motivated student is 2 chapters a week. The first chapter or two are really just reviews so she should get through quickly. I am not holding her back. She is working at her own pace. It will slow down soon as she gets to the new stuff.

Coffee is ready, help yourself. See you all later. Time to get ready for work. After work, the kids and I are going to do some volunteer hours. It is Kids in Need Resource Center and is part of the school board. Mitchell will get community service hours and I will earn a chance to pick up supplies for the next school year. Dylan has to come for the ride, and experience. See you all later.

Had a lovely T bone for dinner, then slept for over 2 hours in the chair! Guess I must have been tired!
Family have returned to Melbourne. A bitter/sweet time. Probably last time he will see his sister.
Tomorrow my friend goes back into hospital to have her lungs drained. If they cannot reflate the lung they will put in a permanent drain that can be used when needed. That should take the pressure off the heart and relieve some of the pressure in her chest.
I have a dental appointment tomorrow to have the crown fitted. That is when I pay for the work done over the last couple of weeks. Along with bringing the family up from Melbourne (although we did use some of our frequent flyer points) the finances are a bit depleted!
So pleased you are getting some relief teaching Suzie. That pay soon helps with the finances!
Off to bed to get some more sleep.

I picked up cousin Don's tractor (my former tractor) this morning. I'm gonna try to get the big tractor out of the old hay barn so the mechanic can get to it. It can't reverse and has a hay roll on the back spear. I can use the little tractor to remove the hay roll, then tow it out. Hopefully, I can then drive it back to the house in forward gear. Otherwise, Robert and I will tow it back. It's a kilometer from the house right now.

June, I will be thinking of you and your friend tomorrow ....

Well, Robert and I got the hay roll off the back of the big tractor, and pulled it out of the barn. I was able to get it going and started for home (it will move forwards) only to discover that it has another flat tire. I'm beginning to suspect that that tractor doesn't like me.

Morning all,
Just a quick drop in..

June, I will be thinking of you and friend today . I hope your wallet isn't too sore after the dentist - oh, and your mouth too..

Mamacita, sorry to hear you are still itching! I hope relief comes soon.

Heidi, I don't think your tractor is a lemon, I think it's a ^&%$%^$#& lemon!

Tami, hope you have a nice day with cooperative students. I love the idea of the volunteer hours. I hope the boys have fun and learn lots.

Theresa, I hope you continue to feel better and the queasy stomach stays settled.

Good luck, Suzy. I'm still feeling fine.

The cat rescue called to let me know both cats they took in from outside my house are doing well. The one that I thought was a goner has been neutered today and he weighs 10 pounds. Thank goodness he got another chance! The other one is feeling very amorous, even though he was neutered previously before he found me - he is spraying and they believe that's probably why he was dumped. But he too will have a "forever" home if he can't be adopted out.

Off soon to look after the oldest grandie while the youngest plays T-ball.

Greetings friends, nothing much going on here today. Tomorrow is doc appointment, I will try to check in before I go.

Joy is coming down this weekend, for my birthday and Father's Day. I asked her what she wanted for dinner that day, and she said something with venison, cause where else do I get that?? So that is easy enough to do.

No T storms in the state today. We did have noe pass nearby last night, we got about 10 drops of rain, but we did get a nice cool breeze from the nearby rains. I sat on the back porch and watched the lightning off in the distance. Did I ever tell you, I like watching t storms from a distance? Many years ago, daughter and I would drive to the top of a hill and watch t storms move across the valley that is Birmingham. she was about 4 or 5, and would beg me to take her to watch the storm. Her father told us we could not go, it was dangerous, blah blah blah, so we just never talked about out trips to watch the thunder hehehe.
