Greetings and Salutations, Friends! I'm still reading posts from a couple of days ago. I will get caught up, though, just can't say when!

Thinking of everyone! Just a few quick comments, though.

June, I'm so glad things got moving for your friend and you and your family had a memorable dinner together! I hope the entire weekend has been one of happy memory-making!

Heidi, what wonderful news about Hollie! I hope she continues to make progress! I hope Yahtzee brought a good price! Positive thoughts for Robert's father!

Nola, we're glad to see you, even if you don't have time to comment! You're doing a much better job of keeping current on reading posts than I am.

Theresa, I hope things improve for the older grandie and for you!

Gail, what fun to have a car like you got! Brenda, I hope you're also able to find a fun car!

Rolanda, I hope your mountain of clean clothes will soon be folded and put away and hope your haircut makes you feel happy and beautiful!

MizT, I hope you were able to get all of your errands and shopping done!

Mamacita, I also wondered about reducing the amount of Benadryl you are taking. I hope your day with Angelique was fun and not too tiring!

Broni, have you found a new part-time or full-time job?

Tami, great idea to reward yourself with time at the beach for getting all of your grades turned in and the classroom cleaned and put away for the summer!

Suzy, I'm thinking it's a good thing that Dana's bf is a bit old fashioned! Did you find a just-right guitar for Alie?

I hope the special anniversary dinner was wonderful, Cyn! Happy Anniversary to you and Col!

WooHoo, Viv popped in on page 113! We hope to be able to see you a bit more often, Sweetie!

Please share these prayers, positive thoughts, and {{{{{HUGS}}}}}!

I need to head off to the Land of Nod! Good Night, Everyone!

Julie, I think the guitar must be just right because she is playing it almost constantly! Nobody is allowed to touch it, other than hubby.

Stole this from Col(CynB's Hubby) who stole it from Gail:
Winnie the Pooh was based on psychological problems. Pooh has an eating disorder, Piglet suffers from anxiety, Eeyore has major depression, Tigger has ADHD, Rabbit has OCD, & Christopher Robin must be a drug addict if his stuffed animals talk to him...

Suzy, cute kitty. So far I have 4 students. 2 retaking geometry to improve grade, 1 retaking algebra 2 to improve grade and 1 taking algebra 2 to get rid of it and move to next class in the fall. I was told the last student is very motivated and should do well. She is taking a full year in 6 weeks.

DIL took the kids to see Rio and I spent quite some time with my friend. She talked more today and we both shed quite a few tears. We also sorted books and old VHS tapes to be disposed, easier to sort now than later.

June((((hugs)))), As difficult as this time is for all of the family , you will look back on moments like being able to talk and share tears as some of your sweetest memories. You are one strong lady,June, and friend has shown that she too is strong...you both show us what grace under fire looks like....May the dove of peace rest on your shoulders.

Suzy, When I read the Apache Blessing, I was searching for the like button...that is great and I'm so glad you posted it both since its a timely post and I had missed it on the other site.
Saw the cat pictures and all I can say is ...what a cutie...
Iching is almost over...not taking any meds at the moment....as for the amount taken that caused me to be so dopey...I only took one at a time, usually just that in a 24 hr period...less wouldn't have stopped the itch (tried that) and can't imagine what more would have done...but no woken furries for now. Trying to retain my limited Aussie slang so gotta use it every now and then..Lol.
Have a great day/night doing something nice for others...and especially for yourselves...you deserve it! Peace.

Today has turned kind of cool - a temp of 16C right now and still lightly raining. Risk of a thunderstorm early evening, and of course hubby is working this evening. It is definite sweater weather. I'm actually kind of enjoying the temps - should be good for sleeping tonight.

Enjoy the rest of your day, Heidi.

Had three students today. Two wanted to be there, one did not. He did not act up, just did not do much. He needs to retake Algebra 2 and get better than a "C" He finished the chapter 1 test today and has a good grade. Tomorrow he will do the Chapter 2 test.

Morning all,
Just dropping in for a minute before I get ready for WORK! Yay! Don't know many people who say that, do you? I probably won't for long.

June, it sounds like you had a worthwhile day. I won't say wonderful, but a day to remember fondly at least

Tami, has the motivated student changed her mind? A years work in 6 weeks sounds tough!

Good weather for all of you.

Happy hearts too.

I will see you this afternoon!!

Suzy, not at all. She worked through the entire first chapter by herself, with minimal help from me. She is working on the end of chapter test, and if she passes, she will start chapter 2 tomorrow. The students are all working on different areas and are working at their own pace.

Theresa, I have been on to read today, but have not got around to commenting. Been busy today, I felt a bit better (don't you always once you have a doc appointment in 2 days?) so had ffuts to do.

I am trying to find things Al will eat, not an easy job, but he is so tired of feeding tube. I made some split pea soup today, you should have seen the face when he tasted that. For tonight I have some chopped venison in gravy over potatoes, hope he can do that.

Al has appointment for Friday for his PET scan, so everyone please cross fingers, send good vibes, prayers and wishes that all will show well on this scan.

It is time to fling my food, I suppose, but I am just not hungry yet, perhaps later.

Hugs to each of you, with extras.
