I too have been concerned for a while about Al. I cannot understand why they didn't completely follow up on the 'scarring' to make sure that is all it was. ((HUGS)) to Al and MizT hope everything gets sorted out properly soon.

Hope MizT is ok if there was flooding. I remember her saying that the roads near her flood quite quickly.

I'm feeling blah with our weather at the moment and especially the long range forecast, which I heard last week. they forecast that we would have a big change in our weather, for the worse by the middle of this week. Well it came a day early. It is windy, wet and cold right now. Hope they get the rest of the forecast wrong as they predicted floods and an early start to the winter and a severe one to boot. I think I will book flights to Florida for the remaining holidays Richard has to take this year.

Our weather is turning into Spring.. temps reaching 25C over the weekend

It would have been nice to have had those temperatures for our summer. I think they have said it has been the worst summer we have had for 10 years.

First day of school for the grandies. They both had haircuts (not quite shoulder length) - their long blonde hair is gone, but this will be so much easier to keep untangled. It's what they both wanted and they look sooooo cute ....

Was not a terrific day yesterday at outlaws ... MIL was not in a great mood. She was looking very frail.

Kentucky weather is bizarre. On Sunday it was 100℉ / 37.8℃ and horribly dry. It is now (Tuesday) 56℉ / 13.3℃ and soaking wet outside. Why can't we have temperatures in the 70's? Ever?

Everybody..... If you feel the need to gripe, complain, curse the Fates or blow off steam, this is the place to come. We all care, understand the need and someone here has probably experienced similar. And we're pretty good at just listening. (I can even keep my mouth shut if given some broad hints!)

Only 8 days to go until my epidural. I hope I can last that long. I woke up this morning feeling like my back was snapped in two. The meds have the pain eased up a little, but they can only work small miracles.

Boy, it is hard for me to stay a regular here.If I do get a chance to sit at the computer, it is usually enough time to read emails and comments here.

Last time I was here,I thought I was on the mend from gastroenteritis, but ended up off work for 5 days trying to get over it.In the end,I went back to work feeling wrung out but pushing myself must have been what I needed rather than laying around waiting to feel better.

The grandies came home from school - oldest is in a bad mood - hates school. It's the first day. This is going to be a long year ...... This is now the fifth year she has hated school! I so hope her treatment will continue soon and they can get things sorted out. It hurts me to see her coming home from school and being on the verge of crying.

I have a question for all you ex-smokers out there. Today is day 37 and I have a craving that has lasted almost all day and nothing seems to help. I had been doing really well up until today. Have you ever experienced that? It's driving me to extraction. I think I will try and make it an early night.
