Heidi, hope you have a day that is as special as you are (and that is pretty darn special)

Hope everything works out with the tractor.

No posts from Suzy all day. Does that mean she is sleeping???

Heidi :(

Tami, I did post yesterday but couldn't get on last night. Something about the weather, user load or something made our internet so slow that I couldn't get anything to open.

I wasn't sure that would post. My connection is a big wobbly again. We are having a magnificent storm! Thunder, lightning, pouring rain!! I love it, except for one thing. When it storms I usually let the poor doggies into the back room - which is now Dana's room and they're not allowed in :(

I wonder how she is going to be today? Yesterday she was waddling around and looked very very due. Someone asked about the baby's size. Remember when we got to spend the day at the hospital so she could have her ultrasound? That was to check the baby's size. It weighed in at 2050g back then - 4 and a half pounds. On track for a normal birth weight they said. But it is a little early if the baby comes now so it could be teeny tiny.

I found a radio station on iTunes that broadcasts recordings of thunderstorms. I can listen to them, and they don't freak out the dogs the way real storms do.

Heidi, there seems to some machines that take exception to actually working for you, hope you get the loaner.
Zusy, hope Dana hangs on longer even though she probably wants it OUT now!
Getting my eyes checked this morning, working at the computer all day had definitely put them under strain, then off to have my hair done and look bootiful. My cous Maz is visiting this afternoon and according to Bella she is only coming over to visit her hehe!

Heidi, you would have loved my Dad, he always had that down to earth attitude with a great love for life. I was the only one who he would let care for him, we had a great bond, both as stubborn as each other too..
Have you phoned the dentist to let them know your tongue is still numb?

Took Bella for a walk this morning and the little(well not so little) B1tch decided to go swimming in the drain beside the park, fortunately they have just dredged it and with all the rain we have had it was fresh water. Smell of wet dog ewewew!

A toast to your dad, Broni
Suzy, just looked at the radar and not much behind that storm when it finally passes.
I am washing sheets. Fingers crossed I will get them dry.
Storms etc are good for starting labor I believe but just hope the baby can wait a bit longer. Belinda was three weeks early and weighed in at 7lb 10 oz. My dad always said girl (calves) were impatient and came early. My son was late but the girls both came before time.

I got a loaner, and was able to feed the cows. They lent me the other tractor that I traded in. It's finally fixed! I still dread using it, since I know it hates me.

Boy calves are called calves, bull calves or bullocks.

Catch you again later, remember, I thought of each of you and commented on many of your posts. Gee, If I could only remember.

Briefly dropping in here, just abou8t to leave to take the painting to the gallery. This is not a for sale exhibition, more a display of local high school student's work, the 'scout' went to all the schools and selected pieces she felt worthy of hanging. Must go put a b*mb under Hannah, we must get going as I have a few other errands to do today and still a lot to do around here before BIL's arrival tomorrow sometime.
I have to treat Hannah a bit gently though, she had to wake me this morning around 3.30 in terrible distress with an unexplained abdominal soreness which almost sent us to the emergency room, but after giving her some anti-inflammatories, and a phone call to 'Nurse on call', she calmed down a little and was able to get to sleep. If it flares again, we shall have it properly investigated, but fingers crossed, all seems ok at the mo.

Hi, Everyone! I'm back for a few minutes.

Theresa, not so good news that the mouse is broken, but wonderful news that D and SIL are rethinking the situation! Happy Birthday to SIL and enjoy dinner at the steak house!

Heidi, I'm so sorry to hear about your tractor woes. They definitely SHOULD provide a loaner to you! How are you supposed to feed the cows? Has anyone else bought this model of tractor and had similar problems? Maybe it's time for a recall? This is a MAJOR inconvenience! BTW, I hope your tongue is less numb by now!

Great combination TOPP! All you need is love . . . and a tractor that works!

Suzy, I usually enjoy listening to a storm - except when the thunder indicates that the lightning is nearly on top of us. (I prefer a little distance.) Thinking positive thoughts for Dana and the baby. I hope the dogs aren't too disappointed that they aren't allowed in the back room/Dana's room.

Broni, enjoy the memories of your Dad! He sounds very special - down to earth with a love of life! A virtual toast to him! Silly Bella swimming in a drain beside the park! Thank goodness it was fresh water! I hope the trip to the eye doctor went well and your hair is freshly beautiful! Enjoy the visit with your cousin!

Heidi, I'm so glad they let you have a loaner and you were able to feed the cows! It must have felt strange to be working with your old tractor!

MizT, so sorry you lost a long post! We'll be looking at colder temperatures and strong winds, as well as possibly 8 inches of snow. Take care of yourself and sleep well, Tricia!

Vicki, I hope your day has gone well! It's nice to have a day off and start accomplishing things (dog's bath) right away in the morning!

Gail, I hope all went well with delivering the painting to the gallery, and hope Hannah is feeling much better! Hopefully it was nothing more than the excitement and nerves of having the picture in the gallery and starting college next week!

Have a stupendous day tomorrow, Heidi, and enjoy dinner at the Indian restaurant! Happy Birthday!

Gail, take care of Hannah. Please make sure it was not her appendix. Check and double check. That is what happened with Sharon ( the Dr. told her it was not appendix) and she ended up with a burst appendix and her problem started from that time.
There is a display of major NSW school art works in the Art Gallery each year. It is an honor to have your work selected.

Eeeek! I pray it is not so June! I really don't think it is, given its location, and the way it responded to the drug, but I will definitely be watching. ♥

Gail, I agree with June about watching out for Hannah and her appendix. My son had similar pain which responded to pain killer and subsided but he was later rushed to hospital with for his appendix and it had burst too.

We had snow again last night, about 1.5inches, on top of the frozen stuff still here since last Saturday. It's -2c at present supposed to get to a high of 1c today. I'm dreading our next gas/electric bill as the heating is on constantly and higher than normal too.

It's raining again... actually it's pouring.

We let the poor dogs inside this time. The thunder and lightning had them trying to get through the glass to get to us. They're locked in the kitchen with blankets on the floor - more washing in the wet weather - aaahhhh!

Broni, I think your dad would have gotten along well with my mum.

Gail, I really really hope it's not Hannah's appendix. Every time I hear appendix now I think of Sharon and June. I know you will keep a close eye on her so I'm only worried for you.

Heidi, I hope your old tractor does a better job as a loaner than it did when you owned it.

Brenda, I have been hearing about the cold snap in Europe (even colder than yours) and I think about their power bills. Now the cold has reached you too. {{{Warm hugs}}}

MizT, I hope you are able to keep yourself warm without breaking the bank too. You too Julie!!

Morning all. Coffee is ready, help yourself.

We are having a milder winter than ever. I have had to put my AC back on. I look forward to being able to open the windows. This is usually the time of year that I save on my electric bill. The summer is when I go broke. You have to have AC here otherwise the humidity will get to you.

Morning all. Just popping in - I have to look up some things on the internet and had to stop in here on my way through.

We have had a warmer than usual winter so far. Now that I've said that, we'll be getting a huge snow storm no doubt.

Hi all,
weather here is expected to be very cold, windy and snowy...not what I enjoy most, but it is winter...thus expected more so than the fairly mild weather we've been lucky to have had thus far.
I've been fighting a bad cold all week and not felt up to par, but seem to be coming around towards seeing light at the end of this blasted stuff.
How are things going with Dana? Any more signs that labor is near? Wishing all of you the best.
Healing vibes to Hannah and any one else who may be in need...Heidi, adding my voice to the choir in singing birthday joy for you as well as hopes for a working tractor...
thinking of all and wishing I could say more, but you know what's in my heart for all...Peace!♥

The mechanic is convinced that he has beaten my old tractor into submission. He has replaced large parts of it that had been causing me trouble, and swears that it won't act up on me. I sense it plotting, though, and will be using it as little as possible. That tractor caused me several years of nightmares, and always broke down whenever work was to be done. I do not trust it.
