Gail, that's (almost) enough to get me to clean my refrigerator. It needs it badly, but no time this week or probably next. Good for you getting all of that done!

Broni, fingers and toes remain crossed (though cramping a bit) in the hopes that they were the next proud owners!

Thank you everyone for the anniversary wishes. We had a fun night between a bar and a restaurant. We thought ahead and left our car at a friend's place and took a taxi home. I had my first Singapore Sling and I would have another, though not 2 on one night.

Laura came with us to Belinda's and she was doing some art work to go in Camden Show (fair) next weekend so Julie, I did not do a lot of work. Laura and I are going back Thursday for a couple of days so we can go to the show. Makes me remember that Sharon was with us when we went last year. Tired tonight so will watch a bit of TV and off to bed.

Peter gets 2 slices, because at the family luncheon we had after Mum's funeral he did not have any..
too full his excuse!!

Had a nice time with all my cousins last night. Tons of leftovers for dinner tonight. Today is the funeral for my Aunt Lil so I will see all of them again. My cousins brought a bunch of Lil's scarves with them. I picked an animal print one to keep. My aunt Lil was always fond of animal prints and that is what I remembered the most. I may not wear it often, but it is nice to have.

She's dying. I thought I had time to go back down to see her again. I was going in a couple of weeks. Now it is too late. She said goodbye on the phone... Most of you know exactly how I feel right now. Big hugs to all of you.

Less than 24 hours to go until I'm home from the Pain Management Clinic at the hospital. I kind of look at it as being reborn with a new lease on life..

I promised IH that I would spend a couple of hours today helping clean up fallen trees and branches on the property today. Fortunately, he's such a dawdler that it might not happen. He's taking a nap right now.

Suzy, I know how you feel.It is so hard to see our loved ones leave us but for them it is the end of all the pain. You know that you and your family have my love and support.

I forgot that I had a board meeting at 3 pm, so I cannot help IH after all. You can't imagine how upset that makes me.

Suzy, my thoughts are with you. I also hope that her passing is a peaceful one.

Mum has made it through the night. One of our cars runs out of rego tomorrow and we can't all fit in one with a car seat - not for a long trip anyway. Looks like some of us are leaving today and some tomorrow...

Back from the bored....er.... board meeting. Then I fed hay to the cows after I got back. All I really need to do this evening is feed IH and feed the puppies. I get to rest the back tonight. I'll be getting up in 12 hours to go to the hospital.

Broni, Hugs to you. I do understand the boat meant a lot to you. Saying goodbye to a happy and important part of your life.
Overcast here. I have done two loads of washing but only put out the sheets (rest in the sun room).
Hubby is at a meeting and when he comes home we will take his Mum out to lunch. That means I will not have to cook much tonight.
