Tami, the fax machine can be programed to keep trying a number every --- minutes till it gets an answer. Someone just programed in your number by mistake. Happened to us once, and phone co could not help us back then. Had to leave our phone off the hook overnight.

Another time, it happened again, hubby just went out to office and found an old fax machine he thought would receive. Plugged that fax into our phone line, received the fax, was able to tell who needed it. It was a local trucking c9mpany not far from us. Al phoned that co and they sent someone to get it! They had been calling and calling the sender of the fax, Dept Of Transportation, for that permit they needed immediately to get a truck on the road.

Heidi, lovely bird, that silver pheasant.

Long eay at the doc, I had no idea it would take so long to infuse some iron. HUGE bad that has to drip in slowly, took about 3 hours just for the infusion. We were there from 11 till after 3. Then got a few groceries at wal mart and home.

Opened the side door of the mini van and 2 bags of groceries slid out, one of them open side down and everything scattered. they has shifted in transport. The other of the bags was my eggs, one broken and 4 cracked. Tomorrow will make eggs with the 4 cracked ones. What a mess.

I need a nap, I deserve a nap. All the cold things put away, others can wait till later. If I wake up again, fine, will have dinner, if not, will not hurt to miss one meal.

Hugs to all.

I need to notice the numbers.

It is a good thing to be rich, it is a good thing to be strong, but it is a better thing to be beloved of many friends.

Overcast and cold. I feel like going back to bed with a book but better if I sort winter clothes as going into the snowy region next week. I will probably have to go and pick Laura up from school and take her to her Physi class this afternoon.

Concert was good. Theme was "a night at the movies." They sold popcorn and soda. Act one was broadway show tunes. Act two was disney theme songs. Act three was movie theme songs. Dylan disappeared from his spot and we didn't know where he was. When the kids got to the Jaws theme, Dylan crawled across the stage, behind the first row of kids holding up a shark fin.

Back home. I went to a very good Cattlemen's meeting, then drove over to the sale barn to pick up my check from Sassy's sale. She brought nearly twice what I thought she'd bring! Other people recognized a good cow, too.

Hi everyone!

Glad to hear Al is eating. MizT, look after yourself.
Gail, Broni and Heide, Get well soon.
June, please take it easy.

Excitement at work today. They are filming a commercial on the corner, about 20 metres from our door. If you see a vodafone commercial featuring Robin Hood in Sherwood you'll know where it is. Mind you, they'll need more than a commercial to make their product sell!
Vodafone are known as having the worst mobile call connection problems in Australia.

Morning all,
Was nearly late to help hubby pick his new glasses - lucky I went too as I was able to talk him into spending the extra money to get better lenses for his work. He spends all day on the computer so he really needs them to work the best they can!

Heidi, I wonder if the buyers knew Sassy might not be able to give them babies?

Tami, that sounds like fun! I love watching the young ones... somehow it always sounds good.

MizT, sorry about your groceries. We did something similar with an annoying fax - we were able to set up the computer to receive it and someone from the company it was meant to go to was on our doorstep to pick it up within a few minutes of our call letting them know where it was.

Hi Rolanda!

Hugs and thoughts for everyone who needs them

I had my nap, I did wake up and served up some roast pork tenderloin. Al ate the meat, but said the roast potatoes tasted like dirt. You know, they really did, just a bit, told him is taste was spot on tonight.

We had bought several types of cookies and snack crackers, for him to sample see what might taste good. While I was asleep, he got all of them out, and ate one or two of 6 different packages. Yep, we have 6 or more packages open at once. One he handed to me and said, you can have these. I guess they did not do at all. He said the jury was still out on two others, but several he could and would eat, Perhaps I can get him to have a couple cookies and milk as a snack between tube feedings or some meal he can eat, might speed up the weight gain.

Note to self, find 5 or 6 zip lock bags tomorrow for the opened cookies. So like a little boy hehehe, but he is so proud each time he finds something else that tastes right to him. I think it will not be long he is not dependent on feeding tube for meals.

Still no appointment for PET scan. That seems to be the one thing cancer center cannot find to be done with financial assistance. AND all the Imaging centers that offer PET want cash up front if not insured. Not sure what we will do about this. Cancer center said they have 3 or 4 people they are working to get scanned at the moment. Cross fingers they are soon successful.

Heidi, glad for you the check was more than expected, always a nice surprise.

Suzy, glad you talked your hubby into the better eyeglasses. it is important to see what you are doing at work. With AL it was better frames and shatterproof scratch resistant lenses we agreeded on for him, He got a titanium flex frame, so if he bumps his glass frames while in the shop, they give, not break.

HI ROLANDA!!

June, thoughts and prayers today as PET scan results are today, correct? Do let us know, we care sweetie. Hoping for the best possible news for your friend.

Time for bed, just waiting till medication time here, I am off schedule after being away so long today. Need to work that third dose of a med in fore bed.

Hugs to each of you with extras.

We cheaped on the frame MizT, well, only $20 over the cheapest one, $200 less than the flex frames... but we spent the $200 to get the better lenses! It's a trade off..

Sassy was not sold as a breeder, plus I told them she was 16 years old. She looked younger than her age, tho', And I didn't wait until her condition deteriorated too badly.

It's still only 14C in the lounge room! I have been gradually blocking the leaks, but the temp isn't going up. Must have missed one.

Good morning all.
((HUGS)) to everyone whether they need one or just want one.
Day two of the bedroom furniture being fitted. It should be finished today. It was delayed a day as no fitter available on Monday. One problem so far which is a couple of the interior fittings (shoe cubes) are missing bits. The fitter couldn't even make one out of the two packs. New ones will be here tomorrow. I have said I will make them up as it isn't rocket science, as long as all the bits are there.

Morning all. Coffee is ready, help yourself.
Heidi, glad that Sassy was sold for more than expected. It is always nice to earn some extra money.
Tricia, glad that Al is eating. It is funny how he opened all the cookies but you can't get mad at him. He found something he likes the taste of and that is a good thing.
Brenda, glad the bedroom is going well. I know you can't wait for it to be finished.

Suzy, remember you need some ventilation if you have a fire going. Not good if you burn all the oxygen out of the room. I remember some cases in Melbourne over 40 years ago where people died because the blocked all the vents and went to bed with heaters burning.

More snags with the bedroom. One of the locking drawers inside a wardrobe has bits missing too. A wardrobe door which I sent back when it was first delivered because it was scuffed, seems to have been redelivered, guess what it is going back again. The cornice has to be replaced too as they sent two different shades which only showed up once the cornice had been cut and fitted. Lots of niggly little things which had nothing to do with the fitter. These will have to be done after we have been on holiday.
On a brighter note the new freezer has arrived, after leaving it to stand for a few hours it is working getting down to temp so I can transfer all the goods out of the old freezer. Will defrost that then take it to the tip.

Brenda, What the heck is going on with pride and efficiency with companies these days? This refit is becoming a nightmare! Put it all out of your mind while your are away, there's nothing you can do about it on holiday.
