RUBY, I think I shall continue to avoid them!
Birthday party on Kathy from Valrica's page, and she invited everyone. I left the juke box there, go pick up a quarter and play her some music that is appropiate for a 61 year old!

I couldn't get the 16x16 to fit on one screen so that I didn't have to scroll back and forth? Any answers? Becky?

I tried the 16 x 16! I too Ruby had to scroll back and forth. It took me ages to do it, and by ages, I mean well over an hour. I won't be trying that again!
I'm afraid I don't have time to go to Kathy's party. I have to get back and finish getting D#2's card and 2nd row to the tree done so I can send it out tomorrow.
Peace on Earth, good will toward men! (S#2 watched Charlie Brown's Christmas last night, Rudolph is on tonight.)

The 16*16 fits on my screen but I have it set at 1280*1024 resolution. I don't get the random D's that others are getting

Stopping by before going to the puzzles. There's 2 ways to fit the grid and numbers on the screen is: 1. change the resolution as vdV did; 2. "hide" the top toolbar and address bar, but with this one you'll still have to scroll down to check and uncheck the possibility box.

I tried the 16x16 again this morning, but the random Ds were still there. I tried with a paper copy but its just not the same! You get spoilt with all the computer features!

Becky, right click your mouse for possibilities rather than selecting 'this number is a possibility'. It eliminates the need to check/uncheck the box each time. Although with the random 'D' possibility thingy, it might be better to use the original way.

Has any one of you with the random D's popping up sent a note to GATH? Only way he will know is if you contact him. Just too much for him to read the boards every day with all else he does.

Good morning all! Warmer today, 25F, and we still have some snow on the ground. Watched "Rudolph" last night by myself. I've always wanted to help the toys on Misfit Island. My neighbors would throw away toys in good condition. When I see them, I grab them, clean them up, and bring them over to the church's charity store and food pantry. There's someone out there that would want it and love it!

everyone.
Stella, I watched Charlie Brown and Rudolph with Amber. When I was little, we watched them every year.
I think our weather has settled down. I took Amber down to the lake for piano and couldn't believe my eyes. They have more snow than I do up here. We had lots of warm wind up here Monday and it melted all the snow. The lake didn't get the wind and still has lots. A first, since I've lived here.

It's in the 60's here, but cloudy and windy so it feels colder.

Today made 64 at my house and SUNNY, so it felt warmer. I actually opened the doors for a couple of hours today. More of the same tomorrow and again over the weekend, one day of cooler in between. Unseasonably warm, as the forecasters say.
Off to fling food shortly, tonight, smoked turkey and stir fry veggies in soy, over noodles. should not take long.
what are you having for dinner?

We should be there Mary, that is if we can follow Rolanda's directions! She sent me a map, so there is no excuse. N&D is looking forward to a cooked breakfast, better than porridge! I presume it is that sort of cafe. I will have a dissenter if it is only coffee and a roll!
