Theresa... The barn is a very much needed addition for hay storage. Hay loses it's nutritional value very quickly if left outdoors, and I have lost a lot of hay from insufficient storage room.

This barn should be able to hold close to 200 rolls of hay if stacked carefully.

We had an unpleasant night here. One of the cats strolled into the yard around 3 am. Mason caught him. The cat did not survive, despite my best efforts at rescue. That got the rest of the dogs overly excited, and two of them decided to try to go for the canaries and budgies, throwing themselves against the cages. That's when I got really mad at them. There are 3 sore hineys today.

I also got really frustrated with the sutures in my mouth, and removed them myself last night. Everything is staying closed. Tissue in the mouth heals rapidly.

SUZY, congrats on your uni results, outstanding, my friend. I am not surprised, you work hard at all you do. I was hoping there was an easy fix from your specialist. Keeping my fingers crossed still. Happy you feel better for seeing him.

Judy, did you get your man fed? what was for dinner?

Brenda, congrats to your daughter for gaining a place in the chem teachers class. I know you are proud of her.

June, good to hear your eye is improving. Keep your visits here brief but frequent, if you can. Get well soon. Hope hubbies trip was easy and uneventful.

Gail, good one, dram/alcohol job. you made me giggle hehehe. Just a bit slow on the nori thing? I caught that one first try.

Julie, hugs back to you. You have done it again, a lovely summary of the posts, but not a bit about you. How you doing, sweetie? Those knees behaving? Julie, my shadow is still too big, but weight has dropped a bit again. I had am LOT to loose.

Rolanda, what did you have for your lunch out? Did you have to come home and fling food for your guys? Usually when I eat out, I am so satisfied I have no desire to kooc.

Heidi the all powerful!! According to Gil, she can call down flooding waters, just to vex him.

Cyn, know you are happy to have your connection back. been there, no fun.

I found a sale online, with an additional 30% off coupon. Did you know you can Google the name of a store with the word coupon and find all the good discounts? Mine was $30 off if you spent $100, so I did. ordering capris in all the go with everything colors I do not have, black, black and white check, khaki. Plus bosinberry, cause I found a shirt same color, at a give away price!! getting a whole wardrobe, 13 items, no more baggy clothes for me.

Hugs to all, now on to page 208, well maybe later.

Hi All,
Sounds as if you had a blast shopping on-line MizT...I need to follow suit. I can use a few things...but not because of weight loss...darn it! And I loved the typing in store name with coupon in order to get a discount..I will surely use that.
Bean, Sure hope your life gets a bit easier sooner rather than later...don't worry about the floor in the laundry room...it'll stay clean by keeping the dirty clothes on top to absorb all spills...just throw the necessary undies and outer things that are needed for a few days until you can get your health stabilized.
Julie, Please give us a more personal update next time you post...nothing that you wish not to share, just a few tidbits on how life may be treating you. We love your summaries, but we love you more.
Hugs, kisses, and love to all. May our collective joys be greater than our challenges, and may we continue to have the strength to face all that life offers with resolve and a smile, knowing that this too shall pass...Peace.

Morning all!
Vicki, what a wonderful morning you described. Not only a relaxing cup of tea but a compliment from your hubby! Perfect!

Cyn, mother/daughter day sounds great. What did you end up doing? Your savings with the solar panels are incredible! If it's anything like our hot water though it won't be as good over winter, but any improvement is better than none!

Bean, that is the best part about my hair colour - it hides the greys that are sneaking through! Well, most of them anyway.

Thumper, that is really good advice. I think I might go and thump some of my plants next spring! Losing 2 sizes is incredible! Congratulations on your stick-to-itness and your success! That's why I named a medal after you...

Rolanda, it's so great to hear that you are out and about again. You must be feeling much better.

Brenda, if you use the definition of luck as being when skill meets opportunity then your daughter was lucky. Congratulations to her!!!!!

MizT, those clothes sound like a real bargain! You really know how to shop on top of everything else you are good at!

June, almost 10 years ago I bought myself a new hot slidy thing that cost about 4 times the price of the 'cheap' ones at the time. It was the best money I'd ever spent - felt like the work was being done for me! Of course once the novelty wore off it became tedious again and I forgot how much less tedious it actually was.

Mamacita, I love it! A clean floor because of the clothes! Your logic is faultless!!

Heidi, sorry about your cat - grrr to overexcited dogs! My girls would love a kitten but it would be indoor so I refuse (even though a kitten would be nice). With the birds flying around, the dogs in the yard, and no barn for the kitty to live in, it just wouldn't work.

Good morning, Lovely words from Mamacita again. The shopping on line sounds a wonderful idea MizT. Certainly when you get what you want at bargain prices.
As long as they are able to do some thing for the aches in your face Suzy. But as you say, concentrate on your good news.

Anecdote from yesterday: The specialist charged $175 for my brief visit so hubby suggested that we go to Medicare and claim back on the bill (got $68 back, gasp!) and use the money to buy some lunch to celebrate my results. When we got to Medicare the place was packed so hubby went up to see if he could pick up my replacement prescription while I was waiting. They decided I had to see a doc since it had been so long since I had been evaluated for that med. We toddled off and had lunch, then went to the docs office - only to have my name called by HIM. You know who I mean!! I think because of my last experience with HIM hubby had gone to my specialist appointment with me, and was with me again at this doc. It was very sweet. Well, when HE called my name hubby's face went all tight and he got a mean look. We spent about 45 seconds in the docs office during which time I asked for a replacement script it was printed off and we left. When we left, hubby said 'It's alright, I f@rted in his office'....

I have been delving into a treasure trove of memories. I brought a box of photos that had been moved to the pantec down to the house and we have been going through them. It has been so much fun! There are photos of the kids in halloween costumes - Ally looked very cute as a lady bug, Ebob was a butterfly that year. Wedding photos - I was so thin! The glamour shots I had done when I was 30 - wish I could look like that every day! Baseball photos of Ebob when she was 5 and 6, ballet photos, baby photos of me, photos of grandparents, my debut photos (yes, I made my debut), photos of hubby's family. Sigh. It has been such fun!

Good Morning my Friends.
Cyn, internet and a fifth of your electricity bill Wooo Hooo!
MizT, you must be feeling better and will look great in your new clothes. Must go gnippohs (yes that is a swear word!) myself to get some clothes that fit me.
Zusy, congrats on your Diploma with Distinctions. Regarding your doctors appointment and scripts, make sure you hang on to all your bills, if you have over $1500 of bills after medicare for a year you can claim 20% back on tax, this includes dentist, optomerist, doctors and scripts. I got back over $2500 for my last tax year.
Wanted to comment on more, hopefully will remember and come back later.
Love and Hugs to all.

Gail, my mom has been a saint when it comes to dealing with my dad. He is not a good patient and more stubborn than a mule. He does not want to take his medicine or the breathing treatments. She has to fight him to get him to take care of himself.

Getting here late tonight - not a big surprise. Good Evening, Everyone!

Hello, Gail, CynB, Judy, June, Brenda, Theresa, Suzy, Heidi, MizTricia, Mamacita, Suzy, Tami the T, Broni, "Trouble's Mom" (Bobbi) and Rolanda!!

It's good to see you here, Brenda! What was for dinner?

June, still sending positive vibes your way for quick healing of your eye!

Brenda, big congratulations to D#1 for getting into the Chemistry specialist course at the uni! Wow, 4 applicants for each space - and a tough course like chemistry! I know you're so proud of her - as are all her "aunties" here! Way to go!

Theresa, thanks for asking Heidi if her new barn is a replacement or "in addition to" other barns on the property. It hadn't even occurred to me to ask. Heidi, if it will hold 200 large rolls of hay, the new barn must be quite large. (Learned something new again today - that hay left out in the elements quickly loses its nutritional value. Thanks!)

Suzy, so sorry you ran out of medication. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day. If you can deal with "It is what it is," then we can, too. It would be a shame if the specialist can do nothing to help, but, as you say, at least you will know that you have done whatever was possible and learn to live with it. Sending positive vibes your way, too!

Oh, Heidi, so sorry to hear about your difficult night! Having had some oral surgery, I agree that sutures can kind of drive you crazy, but I've never removed them myself. You are a brave girl, Heidi (and perhaps a little impatient with your speed of recovery?)

MizT, I loved the visual you provided of Heidi calling down flooding waters to vex Gil. (Well, I guess I amplified it a bit and pictured the Red Sea parting and flowing down the basement steps and into Gil's office.) MizT, what a shopper you are! Great bargains!

I must agree with Suzy that Mama's logic that piles of clothes on the floor help keep the floor clean is perfect! So it's true that an expensive hot slidy thing makes the work easier? Not surprising that it doesn't make it any more enjoyable, though. Suzy, what a great hubby - accompany you to the appointments and to provide a little something special for Dr. A$$hole! I hope it was an "SBD"! (Silent, but deadly) Your going through photos sounds like an enjoyable pastime!

Tami, it's nice to see you here! Have a great and busy weekend, but try to pop in once or twice to say hello!

Broni, great news that you were able to get so much back when you did taxes, but not-so-great news that you had more than your share of medical issues going on. Sending positive vibes for a better year this year!

Gail, you have tremendous power - just mention Bobbi and she appears!

Bobbi, we're all so glad to see you here. Of course, you have been busy with a husband who is recovering! Remember to take good care of yourself - and pop in here every once in a while to keep us

Bobbi, we're all so glad to see you here. Of course, you have been busy with a husband who is recovering! Remember to take good care of yourself - and pop in here every once in a while to keep us updated. Thanks!

Morning/Afternoon, Rolanda! Hope you have a good day and are feeling more like yourself each day!

Heidi, I hope you will feel better tonight and tomorrow! So sorry you had to deal with dogs that got carried away last night, and sorry for the loss of the cat (hopefully not the black one you like)!

Hubby and I found an air fare sale that will get us to D#1 and family a couple of times during the next several months at a very good price. Had to book by midnight here (currently 12:07), hence one of the reasons for getting here so late tonight.

Sending Sudoku hugs to everyone!

No, Julie, I'm not that impatient with my speed of recovery. I'm actually healing faster than I had hoped. I was told that I was going to have a lot of facial swelling and bruising, including a black eye. I had virtually no additional swelling and no bruising. (I was kind of hoping to have a black eye and swelling so I could tell people that IH did it.) Plus, my Dentist knows me too well. She said that I could remove the sutures myself after 2 days, or more, if they drove me crazy. (She vividly remembers me glueing a shattered tooth back together with super-glue, then replacing it in my mouth with an epoxy sculpt product, that holds as well as anything she could use, and releases easier. I also watch most procedures, including this one, using a mirror. I don't gross out easily)

The cat I lost was given to me about 8 months ago. A friend of a daughter of a friend had adopted it out of an animal shelter, only to discover that it was incontinent. They lived in a tiny apartment, with a newborn, and had no money for Vet bills. I ended up with it. Mr. Johnson (the cat's name) was a cat with virtually no personality. He wasn't nasty, but he wasn't friendly, either. He did seem to enjoy hiding in the barn. I never got attached to him much.
