Suzy, a friend with twins made a roster to take each one driving and if they wanted to make the hours they had to make sure they were available at their rostered times. Not easy to fit in those 240 hours.
Nola, enjoy the prac at the different venue.

OK.... if anybody is here... what should I do? Wait 'til morning and go to urgent care, or go to the ER now? I'm bleeding fairly much rectally. More than spotting. Either one, I go by myself.

Oh, My, Brandon is really listening to your every word! A very alert young man you have there. Nice photo. Is that your studio? Love the space, those windows are HUGE, and I can imagine the light you get daytime. Yes, I notice light, I think I am part plant, needing my daylight, living with a bear who wants a home to be a cave :>)
Made me laugh!

I'm baaaaack. They did a lower GI CAT scan, blood tests and urine tests. All they found was a severe kidney infection. I'm back on strong antibiotics.
All the bleeding had stopped by the time I'd gotten to the hospital. I WILL SURVIVE THIS!

At least it's good to know what caused it, Heidi. Is it the same antibiotics as before?

No, different ones, I think...... now I'd better look. I forgot what I'd been taking. OK... it was Keflex before, now it's Cipro. The first one was amoxycillin (before the oral surgery).

Broni.... IH's phone number would have done no good. He did NOT go with me to the hospital. And he went to his plant, where cell phones do not work, instead of taking me.

The metal is going up on the barn roof, now. I'd chosen a light grey, and with all the clouds in the sky, it just seems to vanish. To me, tasteful is unnoticeable. I do plan on putting some kind of mural or decoration on the side facing the road, tho'. Haven't decided exactly what yet. I have a few ideas that need fleshing out.

Heidi, Up in Amish country, lots pf barns have a quilt block pattern painted on. For sone reason, I have always liked those. What have you been thinking of??
Slept in again today, but then did not really get to sleep till daylight. I was in bed from midnight, lying comfortably, not really asleep, not really awake, probably due to pain meds. 'Twas 11:30 when I got up again today, after really getting to sleep at 5 am. I think I have my days and nights mixed. One nice thing, it seems days pass faster, nine days till appointment YEAH
I heard from friends hubby, she is now moved out of intensive care to a room. Spirits are OK, she knew this leg was bad, this was not a surprise. Sue is a trooper, heck, she walked kor the last 8 years with one of those 4 footed canes, and always had it decorated for the season or holiday.
my clothes arrived, and I am pleased with all but 1. The woven, crinkle shirt is tight, but it cost me $2, postage would be more than that to return it.

One of my ideas was a quilt block pattern, but I need to find something different. The barns that have them around here have really simple ones, usually in only 2 colors. I don't like the way they look.

Morning all!
Heidi, glad you were seen to. A severe kidney infection would be painful wouldn't it? I'm very relieved though.
Mum does murals. She's supposed to be doing the water tower near her, I'll have to ask her what happened about that. The council got all 'health and safety' on her.
MizT, I'm feeling like I'm sleeping my life away right now so kind of know what you mean. Sue sounds lovely. It's great news she is out of ICU. I hope she is able to get around again very soon. I have a feeling that even if she ends up in a wheelchair it will be decorated for the holidays!

Gail, your hubby would have some experience with WorkCover. Do you watch the show 'Dirtiest Jobs'? Hubby reckons they couldn't make that show here because the host would have to go through weeks of training before he would be allowed to attempt any of the jobs! eg. confined space training for the job at the cement plant and painting inside the bridge. Changing the light bulbs on the bridge just wouldn't have happened.

I'll be leaving for the Lion's Club meeting in just over an hour. I have to go early to stop at the pharmacy for my antibiotic prescription. The meeting is only 2 blocks from the pharmacy I use.

Morning Nola - just what I was saying about WorkCover! Other than that it sounds great! How long will you be there? Ebob has a manual handling assessment at TAFE this week. If she finishes (If even one more person drops out they won't have enough people to finish the course) she will have a Cert III.

Well, tonight we're deciding on the winner of our College Scholarship. We do various events to raise money for the eyeglass project, our Lion's camp for handicapped and needy children and for a local charity shop that supplies food and clothing to people who can't afford to buy it.

What kind of events do you do to raise money? The one Ally is associated with has a chocolate wheel (don't know why they call it that, the prizes are meat and fruit trays) every Saturday morning plus they have a van that serves steak and sausage sandwiches etc at local events run by other people. They do other stuff too, but I cant' remember them off the top of my head. I know there's an all day thing coming up soon because Ally and Pride will be singing at it.

We've done chili suppers, concerts, quilt raffles, auctions, bull bingo (I'll explain that one later) and I can't remember what else. I need to leave now.
Byeeeeeee.
